Terrace Grumbler
So the weekend approaches and because of the Cardiff Grand Prix we have no home match. I went there once and didn't like it then I went to Marketta Stadium in Prague Czech Republic and enjoyed that GP 100% Cardiff has probably staged a much better GP than the only one I have been too but my GP memories that have lasted are of Nicki Pedersen in Prague, can't even remember who won the Cardiff GP I was at! Well, look on the bright side - the season will now finish in late August instead of mid-August...

HadrianDog
Now we have a crocked Rose, where do the promotion take us now! Or will we continue to be the northern branch of Premier Inns and open our arms to yet more dubious 'guests'

Or will we continue to be the northern branch of Premier Inns and open our arms to yet more dubious 'guests' hopefully not, if Rose is crocked, guests won't do us much good,,, I think 'The Frying Pan' (Nielsen) has done ok, didn't expect much more,,, but Christian at reserve is a no brainer,,, suppose we'll just have to wait and see, and allow some time for humming and harring

PaulS
Didn't realise Lewis R was badly crocked, sad when the lad had recently resumed banging the points in. I guess changes are inevitable then? Watch this space?
HadrianDog
Didn't realise Lewis R was badly crocked, sad when the lad had recently resumed banging the points in. I guess changes are inevitable then? Watch this space? Saw the crash on Sky. Quite fearful the clatter he took to his arm. No confirmation, but it ranged from shoulder to wrist damage pending his hospital scans. In some level of pain apparently though.
erniewoodhouse
I'm sure I heard in one of the interviews last night that Lewis was sick on the track following the crash, if so, he must have been in a lot of pain. you have to feel sorry for him as he was the innocent party, and only hit the fence trying (unsuccessfully) to avoid the fallen rider. Hopefully he will recover quickly, but it does leave us in a dilemma regarding the team. Do we carry on using whoever is available, considering the season is more or less gone for us to achieve anything, or sign a replacement up to our points limit considering the costs in doing that. KEITH M
Lewis Rose out for at least 10 days with shoulder and wrist injuries.. Then due back at hospital when swelling goes down so could be a lot longer
cheggie
Never nice hearing a rider getting injured, but getting Christian to reserve might be a decent outcome. Could line up something like this, depending on rider availability..... 1. S Worrall 7.43 2. 3. L Kerr 7.06 4. Anton Rosen 6.07 5. L Lindgren 7.32 6. C Henry 5.07 7. S Nielsen 3.82 36.77 5.73 left Edited July 14, 2015 by cheggie

Simon surprisingly is now the senior reserve, so a guest is not available. A replacement rider, if found, could be signed up to 5.73 and if Lewis is fit enough to return then replaced by Lewis. It's too long a break to run with a NL rider/PL reserve and then find that Lewis is not fit enough to return before our season ends. Brough Racer In last nights meeting it was stated that Lewis had been sick twice on the track, and it was not nice to watch him down injured. Being sick can be caused by shock, but IME can also be because of broken bones. We will have to wait for the opinion on Lewis when his swelling goes down. Tsunami
Not this season. A PL reserve can be used. That's a lot better then. is Simon not our senior reserve anyway, with an average of 3.82, leaving 5.73 for a replacement,,, don't like to be a 'stickler', but putting 'duff' information out there can't be good for the sport has there not been an incident down at Redcar recently, with something to do with misreading averages ?,,, Yes, but the drift on this thread is if we have lost Rose for the season, you would be replacing him not Simon.
