YAMYAMBANDIT
I like Newcastles line up, a good team in depth, Berwick in 2014 came 4th in PL with a team in depth. Every other year with a high point rider bottom 3. I see you in top 6 with that team.

They have a promotion and a team manager who seem to have the knack of getting the best out of their riders, might take a bit of time to get things going but I expect Newcastle to be play off finishers this season.
Chewbacca
We need a decent start to instill some confidence. Losing 3 of the first 4 home meetings last year all but killed the season. Riding with confidence, I think that team should at least win all it's home matches.
dantodan
Guessing how the team will line up but it is good to be able to list the full team 1. Lewis Kerr 2. Christian Henry 3. Anton Rosen 4. Steve Worrall 5. Ludvig Lindgren 6. Simon Nielson 7. Lewis Rose  So much rests upon young shoulders, Captain Ludde and first mate Christian Henry will I am sure help the rest of the team. Every rider looks capable of avoiding too many last places. Will we win at home? yes I think so. Will we win away from home?....not against the leagues top sides but you never know, the lads could take some scalps. I see us in the play offs but lack of firepower at 1 & 5 in heats 13 and 15 will make victories difficult in the play offs unless of course 1 or more of our young riders step up to genuine heatleader class.. Go on Ludde you can do it!  Lewi Kerr we have seen progress from reserve to second string. Now we want Lewi to be a heat leader Captain Ludde is great to watch at Brough. Now we need him to hit big scores away from home and entertain us at Brough Anton Rosen was fairly good but his gap year may mean he is better..question mark, hope he is up to the challenge of a heat leader roll because we need someone to make the step up Christian Henry. I would put him at number 2 or 4. When he traps he is hard to catch, good luck Christian Steve Worrall. Could Steve overtake his brother. I think so. If he starts well I will be pleased, he seems able to core on other tracks, he could be the Diamonds ace in this pack Simon Nielsen. I duuno what others see that I don't in Simon but hopefully he will improve his average Lewis Rose. My favourite in this team. I can only see him improve every week. I would have Lewis' babies!!! Go on kidda 2015 may be your year  Message to the Promoters... I am very happy with the team you have assembled.. Next year I expect Nicki and Bjarne Pedersen Edited January 21, 2015 by dantodan
Chewbacca
Christian is the natural #2. Probably the best we'v had in that position bar Deek, for many a year.
Tsunami
Christian is the natural #2. Probably the best we'v had in that position bar Deek, for many a year. Agree with that. You need a certain type of rider in the number 2 position who can give good support in his rides, and usually be expected to win heat 8. Over the years we have been well served with decent number 2's starting with Dickie, DEEK and Christian. He scored something like 13 in one meeting, and had the beating of DEEK in every race with him. He scored valuable points, and his real average with us is much better than his start average, because his earlier scores from his Sheffield days is keeping it lower for the time being. Never going to be a champion, but then the likes of DEEK, Dickie, Little, etc, weren't either, but look how they all did for us. He is a trier who loves riding at Newcastle, in fact it was Simon that I meant when I said in December that one rider was begging to rejoin us in 2015. Tsunami
Yeah Dave,,, but what would we know ??? ;-( anyway, told you a wouldn't say owt about the 'Moth' ;-) Thanks.    Incidently, with the weather forecast showing a change for the better this weekend, we will be restarting the track work at 9.30am. Light wind, no rain and an almost tropical 9 degrees we can get on with most things. Need a big show of people to make some progress after the last two weeks calloffs. If you have spare time on Sunday, and you care about helping rather than just criticising, just turn up when you can and we will find work for you. Could be painting creosote on kickboards, or fixing all the old boards that live behind the air fence. We need to make big progress so give it sone thought please. Hot drinks, bickies and Cup A Soup will be available all day for everyone.  SEE YOU THERE.    Newcastle Speedway Supporters Club Posted by David Rowland · 2 seconds ago Thanks to everyone for turning up on a miserable night on Monday for the Race Night. It was great to see such an attendance, and even better with all the new faces there for their first event. On behalf of the committee, can I thank everyone and hope you all enjoyed yourself, and made a few bob on the races. We will get back to you soon with details of our next event, probably a Meet the Riders Night during the Press and Practice Weekend. Don't think it does, but there is 2 different threads on it, unless your really bored, or bothered about other teams, I would think twice about ready them :-)
