Newcastle 2015

To be honest with you I'm not too concerned with what you did or didn't do. I just don't think it helps any speedway club when people are always finding something to moan about. Like someone suggested earlier if you really wanted to sort holidays etc you could easily have done it via the BSPA website.

give owa mr p, you are one of the most vocal about things.... that i know at brough :)

I did. But it took some doing. And, as I said to Tsunami (hinted at, at any rate) I don't normally have a gripe/go, whatever you want to call it, it is very rare for me to do so, but I just don't think it looks very good on the club when 11 of the 13 clubs can put the fixtures on their websites early after 10am and one of the two that didn't is ours.

I can understand your point Steve, I thought the same - but to be fair - someone's actual work must come before his hobby (Speedway). I realised that when it was pointed out to me.

Indeed I am Arson and will continue to be,but really having a go for the fixtures not being put on the website is a bit much even for an old moaner like me. Now if you talk to me about the team or how many people are in the pits on race nights and I'll be full on moaning.

Dont think its having a go pointing out we are lagging behind with our announcements generally ( not just today)more importantly, many a time weve turned up to be told rr is making an apperance or unaware of guests etc... Obviously last minute things cant be helped, but keeping paying customers in the loop is surely Good practice....

There is no excuse not to put these things on twitter, facebook or whatever.... If the webmaster is busy or at work.... It takes about 30 seconds.

Saying that, the match updates are second to none.

Sorry I am SO late with the update from the Supporters Club do at the Corner House. I can confirm that Christian Henry is the final one in the septet, and also that Ludde has accepted the captaincy of our very young 2015 side. I wish him well with his new challenge, but now await the negativity of that decision. Usual suspects may join in.

AN HOUR,,, thought you only got 30 mins ;-)

Going to work through my lunchbreak tomorrow to make up for it.

Welcome back Christian and Good Luck to Ludde as he begins his new role of captain. No doubt he'll be the "Lightning Skippa" for 2015!

As one of those "usual suspects" I sincerely wish Ludwig Lindgren well as a Captain and as a Rider. I will not be negative unless he gives me reason to be. Only time will tell if this is a good decision or not. Hopefully the Captaincy will be good for him - I certainly hope so.

After being to the race night last night, I think George's comments about the team building to a tight budget should be taken on board. As he said, we have some of the lowest attendances in the league and It's only by strict budget management is the club able to survive. The team is not the worst I have ever seen, and as we look forward to the new season now is the time to start wondering who will improve, who will end up as No.1, will Lewis Rose clean up at reserve. Lots to keep us occupied before March. Good luck to the team and I hope we have a successful and injury free season.
