The White Knight
I think its looking pretty good so far. All Riders signed so far are capable of improving their averages. Depending on who our last two Riders are I reckon we will be there or thereabouts next year barring injuries. The problem is that you cannot legislate for injuries as we have found to our cost over the years.
Justgotmecpc
There is no way Kerr is a number 1 in the PL, yes he is a good rider but his average is based on his home form at Newcastle mostly, he won't go to many away tracks and win against number 1'and 5,s like King and Tungate at Ipswich, Stead and Proctor at Sheffield, Lawson and Morris at Glasgow, Cooke and Masters at Edinburgh, Josh G and Kurtz at Somerset, ostergaard and Allen at Peterborough he would more Than likely struggle against all of the teams mentioned 3rd heat leader aswell, I can't see much back up either in Steve Worrall again a rider who got a false average last year riding at reserve for Edinburgh who if you look at his scores when he came out of reserve weren't that great at second string. But what do I know, it may work out for them hope it does as both riders are young and English and have been given a chance over old over the hill foreign riders like Dryml for example you may be right on kerr for the 1st couple of months but come may I think a few no 1's and 5's will be try'n to beat him to the 1st bend as he's a hell of a trapper and on new gear he'll take some catching,, the teams looking solid and instead of all the negative points on here give the lads a chance ffs all doom n gloomers

Fenway Bleachers
You will have no problems with Stevie holding his average. He is a master trapper and was our main man for the first 3 months of last year, before workload and partners LONG labour caught up with him at the end. At home we had 5 heat leaders and he regularly beat opposing 1 and 5, just ask Steady, who he might get to keep next time. Brough lends itself to haters and Stevie has developed that skill in spades. As for Kerr, he can also fly from the start and was a better bet than Danny Olympic at the dale last year so should be competitive for the majority of the time, never mind the likely improvement. Diamonds team next year may not win bling but that will not be due to the young guard falling apart.
baba
Looks like a fairly solid team no out and out no1 but by mid season he could be
HadrianDog
Most of young Mr Worrall's Diamonds' detractors are I think, myself included, basing our worries on his past Brough form. It seems that the Edinburgh faithful believe we have it wrong and he will 'stoop to conquer' our domain. God', how I hope so, and failing that, its never bad to have a rider with blistering away form for a few extra points. As long as the other lads can hold Brough that would be more than acceptable. That said, we must not lose as many points at home as last season cos that was simply embarrassing, if not painful {Redcar} to watch.

HadrianDog
Merry Christmas to all and lets hope for a successful season which is largely injury free. Just for once I would like to see an intact team both start AND finish the season. Lets try and make this a year where the lads don't see the walls of the RVI too many times please, { or any hospitals on the road too}
Dekker
I think Monarchs fans over estimate Stevie, it all depends on how Newcastle start the season IMO. If others get off to a slow start the pressure could be on him. Think Aaron Summers & Stevie Worrall are similar, decent riders who rely on their starting more than they should do which will probably stop them being genuine top PL performers unless they pull an Ivan Mauger off in their later years.. Newcastle look like i expect a Sunday based team to look, packed with journeymen and 1 or 2 youngsters who fly under the radar of the foreign weekend leagues who could make it big who will then depart for a race night thats better for sundays abroad. Rosen aint a journeyman and lindgren although not my cup of tea is hardly old.... Only maybe Henry fits the bill dekker??
