I have always backed Ludvig but personally I would look elsewhere simply because he's just never provided any real consistency and there are too many tracks where he just doesn't perform. Certainly has the ability but if it was going to happen for Ludvig it would have happened by now.

Henry would be fine as long as he's not expected to ride in a heat leader position. He doesn't have the ability to get the big scores that Ludvig does but he's more reliable and scores more solidly on the road.

If we go with a Kerr, Henry, Rosen, Lindgren, S or R Worrall top 5 it would be solid and would be very strong at 2 and 4 but would obviously lack proven heat leader strength. It would really need a Kerr or Worrall to have a massive year or we'd be very weak in the big heats and risk ending up with the same problem we had last season. Lewis Rose would also need to have a major impact from reserve for that team to be successful. Not impossible but asking a lot.

you on the Ace on a school night??...... :)

not a drop bud

To those who don't know, Arson and I played in the top 5 a side team in British Gas(Northern) despite an age gap of about 25 years. Canny days them. :D

is that 25 years in dog years ??

that would be roughly 25 years ago aswell :)

i dont know?? Cost?? Location, Trust??..... I seen him not happy with his mechanics and or equipment a good few times though, or maybe hes getting a touch of lemoitis and blaming the bike too much lol.... He may have a full time mechanic now im not sure.

hope so and some of the doom n gloom merchants might give him a chance,, look at woofy 2 year ago he was 500 to 1 to be world champ.. could ludde be 100000000 to 1 for the plrc ??

are you seriously comparing Woffy to Lindgren?? :).... Im a doom and gloomer mate sorry :)

no no no man woofy's got more tattoos than ludde lol but if we look back at 2012 when you said steve needs to take time out as he did and look at the way he came back this year,, lets hope ludde has took time off this winter thinking its summer and he'll come back ready and put at least 2 points on his av and yes av just done a bottle of red in :D

sorry for being 'pinicity',,, but I can't actually see how you work that 1 out,,,

Christian was riding well at the time, but his average had dropped from the start of the season,,, whereas Robson. Kerr and even Lindgren's had risen at the time he 'left', (or whatever),,, that's just by following the official BSPA GSA's  Henry should have never been axed he was our best rider up until then lingren should have gone instead thats based on preformace at that time , you keep fallowing the official BSPA GSA's i will comment on what i see the riders do on the track.

Just to give some facts to correct the opinions of the "in the know people".

Darren Bond does not sponsor Ludvig.

Ludvig does live at his house.

George Bond did Ludvigs bikes all season with Ludvig.

George Stancl was with Anton till his injury and helped with Ludvig for a couple of mtgs only.

George Bond and Ludvig work together and win or lose together.

Ludvig is frustrated with himself when he doesn't ride well and will shout at mechanics or throw goggles but that's normal

When they sorted out the confidence and stopped reading the forum, got over the shoulder injury, and clutch issues, Sean Wilson changed the engine set up and Ludde rode well in all mtgs except Edinburgh away.

His average last yr was in the 1 or 5 spot all season.

He rode for Newcastle last yr because it's where he wanted to be, his three main sponsors are not bothered who he rides for.

fair enough and thanks for clearing a few things up... But do you see why SOME of the paying punters find him an enigma and frustrating? Max one min and beaten by opposition reserves the next....

Seen as you obviously know him, has he ironed these problem out for next season?? And riding at #5 means you are with or against at least one reserve in 3 of your alloted races, so a man of his talent should really hold their average... number one was tough though i agree.... Heres hoping he can push on next season and us doubters can eat humble pie.

Wherever he rides next season I hope he kicks on and doesn't waste his talent.

As for next season he is fine depending on what the silencer changes bring .

That will be us then, along with Anton http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100353

Fan-bloody-tastic, the 'Turnip Twins' are back for 2015. Now this team is starting to shape up. Roy will be so happy to be able to use their nick-names once again. Another set of twins in the offing too would be good. Haven't checked on averages though- maybe now a non-starter. Also good to see the website catering for us shift workers and posting in the early hours. Should liven up this forum once a few of you 'normal' hours workers rise from your slumber too.

well,,, does'nt look like we could bring in the Worrall twin's, (unless we get a lend of Somerset's calculator),,, but hopefully put Rosen and Lindgren in at 3 and 4 and get in a strong 1 or 5,,, we have 17 pts to play with for our last three, without any reduction's,,, so there is plenty of scenario's,,,

shame we could'nt get a reduction on the Worrall's, because there twin's, but that's if both were available,,,

look's like, 1 Worrall, Henry, Neilsen/Greaves would fit,,, suppose I'd be happy with that :-)

Who told Stuha he had to write a hundred lines and more worrying he can only count to five ;)

1. Not yet confirmed

2. Not yet confirmed

3. Ludvig Lindgren

4. Anton Rosen

5. Lewis Kerr

6. Not yet confirmed

7 Lewis Rose

Roy will be happy to announce in Red and Blue we have the TurnipTwins again. My line up is not in any particular order.

I am happy to be able to watch Ludde again in 2015. His outside overtakes are breathtaking but hey come on man get some gating lessons.

With Anton we will have to see what difference a year makes. I think he will always score points home and away and hopefully we will be taking back a better rider?

I am not Lingrens biggest fan but some people need to cut him some slack "his outside overtakes are breathtakeing but get some gateing lessons" ha ! and dont forget his mechanic !!! There is a few on here that should offer to spanner for him cos they seem to know it all
