ruffdiamond
Who told you that where have you heard that from like hope all this talk about Lewis going peterborough or worky is not true hope he's back with the diamonds next year whoever it was, was just rumour-mongering, he's back :-) just need the Worrall's, Lightning, and two more to fill in the gap's ;-) excellent new's,,, keeping hold of both Lewi's was/is the key to a good team in 2015 IMOO
Tsunami
Sorry, call me thick, but that sounds like he asked for conditions which Newcastle were unwilling to agree to and prob. not of the financial nature. Puzzling comment that. Robbo wanted to stay, as did Newcastle, but a deal couldn't be reached, so Robbo went to Redcar where his main sponsor is. Would have liked Robbo to stay, cos he brings a lot to the team as captain, but if a deal couldn't be struck, so be it. Far better that than doing deals that can't fit in the budget, and risk financial stability. Going by some of the recent signings elsewhere, I would suggest that a few clubs are trying to finish their season very early. Glad we are looking after the pennies.
MrP
Hopefully the announcement of Lewis Kerr will reassure the fans that the promotion are putting together a decent team that will hopefully injury free be challenging for silverware. Also agree with Tsunami that it's better not to risk financial ruin by offering more than the club can afford.

dantodan
So the one guy above all the others that we wanted back ie Lewi Kerr is coming back next year, great news for us all and I hope Lewi has a great year to put on his CV on the way to being an automatic choice for England. We now need to sign a number 1 rider IMO as a priority as they are going like hot cakes. Failing a top rider I suppose the strength in depth we have had for a few years has served us quite well
MrP
I think every Newcastle supporter will be pleased with Rose and Kerr. Hopefully the two Lewis's will be injury free in 2015.

Tsunami
I wonder if they will be joined by Lambert on Tyneside I think he would be on about 7.45, but unlikely I would have thought.

Prefer to think that his sponsor wanted him at STMP than any other ground- shame. Great to see Lewis Kerr back again. Short of us signing a current 'star' I can easily see him becoming our no1 by the season's end.

NJC71
Great to see Lewis back. Probably the rider I most wanted to see return as he has the potential to up his average again and possibly develop into a number 1. Interesting to see where we go next. Obviously with King & Robson moving on there'll be some new faces but Rosen & Henry I would imagine would be under consideration so the side could still have a familiar look about it. Would personally have no problem in either returning although I would like a new heat leader to give us some firepower on the road rather than fill up the top 5 with Lindgren, Rosen & Henry. I would jump at the chance of signing Lambert even on 7.5 as he has bags of potential and it would be exciting to watch such a talented young rider develop. Having "signed" him last season I would have thought it was a possibility. Steve Worrall had a superb year but that would be a gamble given his final 7+ average included spending a big chunk of the season at reserve - hope he gets fixed up though. Would be surprised but certainly not disappointed to see Richie return. Edited December 4, 2014 by NJC71
SCB
Talk of Lambert doubling up, he still doesn't have a previous PL average so unless the rules are changed then he can't.
MrP
With a change to the points scoring for home wins to 3 points for any home win I think it's better to track riders who know their way around Brough. Also 95% of fans only watch the team at home. I do however acknowledge the fact it's also vital to win away from home if we are to win silverware a suitable balance must be found. All the riders mentioned above all score well at Brough and are more than capable of chipping in with decent away scores. One thing I will say is if we do sign Ludvig give the lad a chance by not putting him in the number five jacket and a difficult heat thirteen. The White Knight
I am absolutely delighted that we have signed Lewis Kerr. I believe that along with Rose this will be key to a successful Team. I wish we could have got 'Robbo' but it was not to be, however I am sure that the Promoters will give us a Team capable of challenging for honours next year. Tsunami
very true,,, but I do hope we get rider's that want to be here, and not because they could'nt get more elsewhere,,, Oh I think that is certainly true. Every rider I 'think' has been signed, will all have been delighted to be asked to join us. One almost begged to join us.

Bagpuss
Talk of Lambert doubling up, he still doesn't have a previous PL average so unless the rules are changed then he can't. Let's hope common sense prevails then as he is exactly the type of rider who doubling up should be for. northyorksbear
Talk of Lambert doubling up, he still doesn't have a previous PL average so unless the rules are changed then he can't. He now has an EL average so that just gets converted and he has both EL and PL averages to allow double up role.
