He possibly wouldn't have been in a rubbish team if he had got his finger out and rode to his potential and was a lot more consistent and didn't keep getting beat of the opposition reserves, you really need to take of the rose tinted specs

did you mean 'they' ???

At no point have I called anyone crap if you look at the posts you will see who used those words, what I did say was that they did not perform consistently enough and it was another poster who described them as stated..it seems to me that everyone is open to criticism bar lingren and that's all it was

who else has been critisized as much ???

That's not what I said you said that the team was changed and was still crap, those left in the team had a responsibility to up their game and make sure the team wasn't crap anymore some did some didn't unfortunately like lingren didn't do it consistently enough to take up the slack,Its not a lingren thing which you seem to turn everything In to but the facts are there for all to see

and they are ???,,,

No I said him as I was replying to your previous post.....why do you think he gets so much criticism ????? On his day he is brilliant on his off days it's not so good and the not so good tends to outlay the brilliant days, I can't remember a heat leader getting beat so much by the opposing reserves and the away performances have probably cost us points

I take my hat off to any rider as its a dangerous sport and they don't get anywhere near the riches they deserve but in any job in any walk of life you have to perform to the best of your ability to maintain gainful employment

At no Time have I said Lindgren was 'crap' if it is me you are getting at RD. I have said he is one of the most inconsistent Riders I have ever seen - a World Champion like Ride in one Heat and a rank Amateur Ride in the next - and that is in the same Match. I have been told that since I stopped attending Lindgren did a really great bit of Team Riding - if that is true he doesn't do that often enough. In my time of attending he only did it two or three times - he could have done it more often but didn't and cost us points.

I also said he would not and should not be Number One - I still believe that. It is up to him to prove me wrong. I genuinely hope that he does.

I am on record on this Forum as saying that I admire anyone who puts their leg over a Speedway Bike - I still believe that and I do admire Lindgren for that. I do not, however, admire his inconsistency in Meetings.

I think it's 'on record' that you said he was NOT, NEVER, or WAS'NT a no.1,,, (while he was riding in that position)

unfortunately, I think you'll find that the rules of the averages DICTATE to some extent what position a rider can be in,,,

FACT- highest averaged rider MUST ride at no.1, (March 2014 L.L)

FACT- next 4 highest averaged riders, anywhere between 2-5

FACT- 2 lowest averaged riders to make up reserve position's 6-7

I did'nt build the team,,, but surely those that did knew these basic rules as they did it, so, it is FACT, that those that did put the team together, were governed by the rules and put the said rider in that position, wether or not they were up to the job or not,,,

This debate should have been well and truly over by now, but some people cannot stop trying to have a pop after the season is over,,, follow the thread, read it, and see when or where this start's :-)

this might help,,, 426, 438, 455

Too bloody true the debate should be over, but for one man going on and on and on and......zzzzzz. Time to stop digging Ian. You have gone, and Ludde is still here.

We operate in the Premier League and as so we have second division standard riders. Higher standard riders are in the Elite league. Ludvig bless his little cotton socks is not of Elite League stature otherwise we wouldn't be seeing him in the Diamonds team.

Personally I like Ludde, he goes through bad patches but when he is on song he is great to watch. There must be better candidates for Ian to single out than Ludde

Is he?

What do you know that I don't?

Mmmmmmmmm - an evasive answer methinks. :) :)

Well, I am not going to discuss Ludde with you. Waste of time and effort, with you retaining your original attitude regardless. Time for you to move on.

Excellent day at the track yesterday. In good weather, we got everything done except about 6 skirts for the airfence. We did start the kickboard painting though, and got all the used boards painted with primer ready for gloss paint this year. This Sunday, weather permitting, will be our last track work day for this year, whilst everyone concentrates on Xmas instead. In the New Year, going to play it be ear, and restarting when the weather allows us to recommence our work. If you have a few hours on Sunday, just turn up with old clothes, we start at 9.30am, but come when you can.

would you tell me Dave ??? :-)
