One thing is for sure we won't have Rene Bach back with us anytime soon as he has penned a deal with Workington. I was hoping one day he would return back to the Diamonds but was unaware that the Comets have bought him outright, bit of shame. Don't know what others peoples thoughts are on Bach returning, mute point I know but...

With regard to the rest of the team, I am glad Rose is on board as I thought he was brilliant last year especially when he had to ride at the number two spot for most of it, not an easy number to race at. I would like to see Robbo, Ludvig and Kerr back and if the Monarchs have to offload a rider maybe Masters as we have no chance of getting Cookie. I thought Greaves was impressive at Brough last year and it would be a toss up between him and Nielsen for the final reserve spot, with Greaves just shading it (for me). I would like to see Rosen back but the 2013 version not the 2014 version as I thought he was not himself this year and never really got into the groove this year. I think Ostergaard may be worth a look or Wells as they both go well around Brough and think it would be great to have Richie 'The St Helens Super Hero' Worrall back but unlikely after what happened at the end of the season. I appreciate that I have probably just named about 10 riders in that paragraph but hopefully just food for thought. Hopefully 2015 will be a better season on track.

what exactly did he do wrong ?

He'll be wasting his time looking for me in Newcastle - I live in Sunderland. :o;):P

I agree - I thought he did really well for one with so little experience. He was a revelation to me. Very, very pleased that he is back next year. :t::approve: :approve:

well I live in Newcastle and know how to get to Sunderland (unfortunately),,, and if Ludvig turned up at your gaff with 'the swedish house mafia' and you had them banging your barnet all night,,, I would probly be well amused, lol :-)

I believe he was supposed to ride for us against the Monarchs at the end of the season and George had booked him well in advance only for Mr Worrall to go to the final GP of the year instead, on the :drink::drink::drink: I believe were some peoples words.

Don't understand why people are mentioning Wells and Summers as riders they'd like us to sign. Ludvig gets criticised for being inconsistent but Wells and Summers both fall into that category. I've seen Summers ride like a world-beater and novice in equal measures at Brough and Wells also blows hot and cold and has done for a good while now. Both good riders but personally I don't see any obvious scope for improvement in either - and that's what we're looking for, riders who can up their averages.

Wells on a 6.49 average, weather he be hot or cold is a steal in my opinion.. Especially if you put him with an experienced partner who is consistent at 3 or 4.. Like Christian Henry or Stuart Robson :)

At Plymouth, and then Worky, Wells was criticised for poor performances, whist appearing to maintain his form when riding for Wolves. I wouldn't want him with that reputation.

To me, Richie no doubt had an invite courtesy of his main sponsor. Would he be sensible to knock that back and a chance of Polish intro's just to ride in a fixture which we had no chance of winning.

that's what was said,,, but was'nt there some confusion over the fixture, changed from one week to another,,, did Richie agree to both fixtures, or maybe something else cropped up before the re-arranged fixture was announced ???,,, but from what I read on the webpage,at the time he could'nt have agreed to ride in a fixture that had'nt even been announced,,,, if he had agreed to it then withdrew his services, fair enough that's unproffessional, but having a go at him publicly on the net is unproffessional also IMOO :-)

The main point was that it was George getting in touch with Richie and, in passing, he said he could'nt make it now. I think it was a Thursday, so rightly George wondered if he hadn't rang him, when was he going to tell George.

robbo yes a good team rider but henry.. he's been known to pass his fellow 2nd strings and off he goes for the win and I don't think I've ever seen him check for his partner on track but put him off the outside in every race and he'll get the win all day no matter who he lines up against so I prob would have him in

I guess he should have had the sense to give George as much warning as possible. I wonder just how long prior to George's call that Richie knew of the Polish invite.
