orion
So what is their el average this season? And I think newman started at reserve in pl too What made you think Newman started at reserve in the PL ? I thought it was common knowledge that Poole had a draft rider who was a pl second string . Anzum
So what is their el average this season? And I think newman started at reserve in pl too According to the two clubs websites Newman 0.44 higher than Worrall
Pirate Nick
So what is their el average this season? And I think newman started at reserve in pl too Kyle was 4th in the Plymouth averages at the start of the season and has spent most of it riding at 2 in the side. thecoombdog
Think with Poole, Kings Lynn and Coventry having so many injuries, the title will now be handed to Swindon. Its a shame as this could have been one of the strongest play offs yet Hang on a minute when you started to blame injuries you only had Barker out. And I seem to remember numerous posts when you signed him about how him replacing MJJ had cost you the title. Its all excuses as us and Poole have hammered you lately when it matters. A rain soaked night in April means nothing now but im sure you will tell me it does!! Â Fact is KL have been v unlucky with injuries and its a joke replacements arent allowed. Poole been let down their star man so not unlucky at all although I feel sorry for their fans and its not their fault Darky likes a lash up. Â Still think Poole will do us in the semi's and win the league though.

foreverblue
Well it seems there is very little to choose between them, poole should have milik and pawlicki back so will need two guests, josh's absence isnt too bad as there seems to be some guests under his average who could do a job like king or kennett or cook or bridger but he will be missed. Bees_Man
Think Coventry look like the team to pick in the Semi. Since MJJ left we look a rider short of really challenging.

I would say whoever wins the league will pick Coventry, just a case of avoiding Swindon really. it is a shame it has become a case of who gets the best guest, we will miss Josh, he was terrific at Brandon last week. g13webb
I think the title of this thread should have Play-Offs to be decided by guests. There are not many top guests about, and of the few that are, are obvious choices. Â There's not much shrewdness required.
marko
So many matches have taken place with guests that the whole league table has been shaped by their use, in fact it would not be wrong to take the league table and add the suffix "Select" after every team name. Â I think there is very little between all four select sides that will be in the play offs although i think the Swindon Select Robins have a slight edge if Peter and Troy are on good form. It's going to come down to who PAYS the most £££ for guests which will mean Poole will get first dibs.  Newman or Worrall? Worrall or Newman? Lewis Kerr is better than both : ) TRAPPER!!!!  Oh, and you could argue that the teams with the best 2 heat leader's are in the playoffs, it's not ALL about the draft picks, but the FTD do provide a nice excuse for teams where their own heat leaders have not performed as expected. Yes i agree Kerr is the best and Simon Lambert is better than Greaves or Compton, so if its only about the best reserves Kings Lynn win. Well it isn't just about reserves,as we may be without our top 2 this is what could lose us the play-offs.

I have this feeling that no matter what happens tonight the play off's are going to be Cov vs KL and Poole vs Swindon. I reckon Poole will pick us if they finish top based on our dismal showings at WR this year.

From the EL perspective there is little in it.    No he didnt FB. He didn't start at reserve but he was at reserve most of may but Worrall was at reserve alot longer so that would help his average comparatively. I just hope Kyle holds his form because he has been fantastic this season and improved beyond anyone at Poole wildest dreams, he has become a vital cog and irreplaceable. Woz01
Can't see Poole wanting Swindon especially after we just thrashed Coventry.[/size] I don't think Poole should look to much into the match at Brandon, there will be significant change in riders for Poole in the playoffs and the Coventry side will probably be different too. Remember we have had two good performances at Wimborne Road this season as well.
