montie
How is this Somerset reaching new heights?? I first thought it was to do with flood defences being fitted after last years flooding down there
jenga
Very true, but Doyley would have still been a Rebel but for the visa issue,... and probably PLRC Champ by now too! and i would have been a millionaire by now IF my numbers came in last week. but they didnt. lucifer sam
The only Somerset high I can detect here, is whatever Barney Rebel has been taking. All the best Rob Edited September 22, 2014 by lucifer sam
StevePark
Somerset reach new heights? Is this in comparison to the lows they reached before the start of the season?
Halifaxtiger
Hope Cookie is reading this Even if he is, his riding for Belle Vue this season speaks volumes.
Shadders
Even if he is, his riding for Belle Vue this season speaks volumes. I don't take much notice of EL scores as it's such a low grade product these days
sparkafag
I think that Doyle is the first rider since Stonehere who has been a true product of the PL to reach the GP. I understand that many riders who have raced in the PL have qualified for the GP between the time the two have made it but the likes of Holder, Ward, Pedersen and even Harris were all somewhat childhood protégés destined for stardom from a very young age. While Doyle was always a nice rider to watch during his early days over here with the Isle of Wight I don’t think many had him down as a guaranteed GP star of the future. More power to him, he is the kind of rider every PL supporter would have wanted to have come through their club. That might all be broken biscuits but it is my thought process and I am sticking to it.
