markyb
Official - per Bees web site - if you attend Friday meeting and retain the re-admission ticket, you can gain entry to the Monday play-off against Swindon for a tenner on production of it. Good news if you NOT a season ticket holder - but shocking if you are ! As the season tickets include a 'play-off' meeting - how the hell are they going to reward the faithful - give them back the 7 quid saving that the 'on-the-night' supporters are getting at the turnstiles - dont think so. Come on Coventry promotion - play fair and forget about the 5 quid extra you making loyal season ticket holders pay on Friday as an offset. Or is loyalty, yet another word not in your vocabulary. Good luck in trying to sell 2015 season tickets by the way !!!!!!!! Happy Days ( luckily NOT a season ticket holder !!)

Yep it's good for me as I will probably now attend but if I was Season ticket holder I'd be disgusted. How can they stop you from entering a stadium for something that's paid for? Come on let the season ticket holders in for free on Friday it basic common sense!
Bees_Man
As a supporter that follows the team home and away its seems we're paying out on double headers nearly every week at the moment. Everyone needs to get their house in order and get fixtures rode in the summer rather than going over a month with no meeting. Its crazy how poorly supporters are treated.
Silver Cheetah Snr
The club appreciates the concerns expressed by season ticket holders regarding the different pricing policies for the hectic schedule of home meetings over the last month, including double-headers. Season ticket holders who wish to discuss the issue further with the promotion are more than welcome, as always, to enter into correspondence via the usual channels and we will be pleased to respond. Where you will be told that they have to let you in to the Wolves match and then you will be escorted out.
Dave Jones
Instead of inviting season ticket holders who have an issue to contact them, why doesn't the club just issue a statement explaining their position on the matter ?
markyb
personal insult? personal insult? Quelle horreur - what are you trying to suggest ? Just pointing out that that fine pasties and pies of Coventry Stadium will be plentiful for the likes of Neil Watson to enjoy. it was just a name at random, perhaps I should have chosen mick Horton or IainB - that is unless you have something more to pass on why you think a personal insult has been made. Happy days!
mdmc82
Shouldn't admission have been reduced rather than increased. For the first meeting there is no Tai, Piotr, Thorsell, Barker, Howarth (and possibly Harris) For the second meeting, Cradley have 3 riders missing and Storm have R/R plus Storm go into it with a huge point loss to overturn so looks over before its begun. Not really sure what Horton & Co are thinking esp so near the play offs.
Silver Cheetah Snr
Friday admission prices are as follows: Adults £22, Concessions £18, Under-16s £5, Under-11s Free. Entry for season ticket holders will be £5 to cover the Storm meeting. Programme £3. I see they can't even get their pricing to agree on the website. Advertising Poster on Website says £17. robert72
Decided to give both meeting a miss which will save me a fortune,I think it's an insult to season ticket holders & speedway fans in general. A weak ELRC £25 A weak & pointless Elite match followed by juniors £22 Speedway needs to be a £10 sport or it will die.

They can only be described as a most unprofessional bunch, and to think that just a few years ago Coventry Bees were looked upon as the best run club in the country. How times change!!! Update at 10.30am Just noticed that the price has been altered on the website, now £18.. Edited September 25, 2014 by Dave Jones

mdmc82
Really poor line up for the bees for this meeting. Wolves managed to get guests but yet it's R/R Harris and still they have not found a guest yet for Barkwr even though knew he would be out weeks ago. Wolves managed to get guests but yet it's R/R Harris and still they have not found a guest yet for Barkwr even though knew he would be out weeks ago. We need to be careful with the guest as whoever guests Friday cannot guest in the far more important meeting on Monday and as we may need two guests for Kyle and Ben we really don't want to be using the best riders available. For that reason I'd be prone to have gone with R/R for Ben and used a guest for Bomber and used a EL rider - as there more options - lose a ride from Hans but get a much better (in theory) guest. Agree that it would have been a better idea to get a guest for Harris Howarth is hoping to be back Monday if he comes through the play offs for Workington okay tomorrow
