Berwick 2015

Recommended Posts

That looks like bthe Supporters Club with a new name, but twice the membership fee. Reminds me of when Peter Waite could not get his way with the Supporters Club, he created B.E.S.T. so he had control of the cash, it soon fell on it's ar*e. the then Chairman Malcolm Leighton cried foul of PW big time.

Looks different to the Supporters' Club to me?

BEST, now that is a blast from the past!

If I am not mistaken, there was quite a bit of "history" behind that!

Could it be that the Bandits are about to renew their Italian connection. The question is will it be one or two

Paco Castanga would be the one I would go for, I know he is keen to find a PL place and is not as much of a gamble than others. Problem is, how many Saturday nights would he miss due to Italian Champs, Under-21`s and the like.

Guests available

Untill Castanga gets a true average I`m not so sure Berwick would get a guest as I don't think you get a guest facility for assessed average riders, also would the BSPA recognize Italian Champs as a reason for allowing guests, Under-21`s different matter though I think you would only get a guest facility for the three Finals.

With your permission of course Scott, may I use this statement made by Dennis McLeary on 1st Dec 2014 on the Berwick website.

''Jake will bring a CMA of 5.00 to the squad, becoming a Berwick club asset after the required number of matches''

with your permission taffy you've spelt McCleary wrong

Do we have a team sponsor yet?

As of the last newsletter no, but they are still on the look out so here`s hoping, going into a new season without a main team sponsor would be a blow to the club.

If you're looking for another foreign 5 pointer to add to the asset base, what about Max Ruml? Looked a much better prospect in my eyes riding in the world cup then Castagna.

Decent shout, it would be great if we could sign two new riders, but I think we only have room for one assessed average rider.

No point in bringing facts to this argument, some don't like that.

I was going along the lines of if Allen is indeed on a 7 point average and needs scrapping. Leaves just enough room for Facu Albin for that last spot too!

surely Ruml would be in need of a visa and therefore be a 7 as well??
