emilali
If posters kept up to date with speedway across the world instead of just telling us how much they are seemingly wanting to pay £20 to watch the mighties they would know Alden is no longer in retirement. Still, to some, Berwick is the be all and end all of speedway. I'd hate to see Alden back, a disruptive influence in the pits, only turns up and performs when he fancies it, no thanks.

If rumours are true, he wanted back to Berwick, but wanted to ride at home on Saturdays only, no away matches, LIKELY

screm
Seb Alden was more than a decent rider in his time, but I hope the club are looking past riders like him these days. I hope we build on last years achievements, I don't think that would happen with Alden, and as I posted previously beware the rider coming out of retirement, it very rarely ends well. If rumours are true, he wanted back to Berwick, but wanted to ride at home on Saturdays only, no away matches, LIKELY If that's true that must make his signing a non-starter. fairplay1
Is he a Berwick asset? Yes and a bloody good rider on a bloody good average i would have him before Kus any day of the week. But dont think it will happen.
Robinh88
Seb Alden is great when it doesn't matter. Great when out riding the highline with each rider at 30 meter intervals... 6's and 7's away from Shielfield... no at the races when the top boys coming calling Lasted about 2 minutes at Plymouth and 5 at Kings Lynn, Had an ideal chance in 2011 to show us the goods, what he showed Berwick was inconsistency... Alden's scorecards will generally look like 3301 or 0330 not the rider we need Claus Vissing doesn't muck about sticks an elbow out. He should be Number 5 next year.... I think he will kick on more this season

But dont think it will happen. I wouldn't have him before Kus, but I would have him as well as Kus. Think he would score well, still quite young too. Are you telling me that the Bandits number 1 fan is not aware of their asset base. Ahhh, but the quizmaster is the one who asks the questions

Think he would score well, still quite young too. Ahhh, but the quizmaster is the one who asks the questions so you would keep kus and be rid of vissing? And chose Seb over Vissing who was averaging around 8.5-9 from Number 5 Alden averaged 7.37 was it?
