screm
would it not be better if the people who write the rules can agree with each other on clarity before printing them, once again in speedway rules interpretation means everything. Not good IMO. On the face of it it doesn't seem the worst suggestion does it. Edited July 4, 2015 by screm
me2
I've never been able to decide if speedway rules are meant to be ambiguous to allow for a bit of jiggery-pokery when it suits them, or if the rule makers are just downright incompetent. More likely they're incontinent with all the pish they come out with.

SCB
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=807712652661207 Well done to the supporters of Glasgow and Berwick, and those who support neither, for raising a fantastic amount for a great cause. Thats a phenomenal sum of money. Surely £4-5 from each person. Puts many of the bigger clubs to shame.
topsoil
Perhaps given the situation with Ricky Ashworth, Berwick fans appreciate the cause more than most, I know I do. Something Berwick as a club can be rightly proud of, is the amount raised every year and long may it continue.

Yes I agree, the situation Ashworth finds himself certainly brings home the good work the Ben Fund does, and the reason why it is there. Berwick have been up with the more generous givers for this cause over the last few seasons.

allthegearbutnaeidea
We need a number 1 and we need to know and make a decision about Claus, we cant wait forever and Claus isn't going to be firing like he was before his injury, its went dramatically down hill in 2 weeks

havenagotahope
Sadly we have fallen into the same trap as when Lee Complin was injured and it has'nt worked and unless there is a fantastic turnaround in our fortunes at Rye our season is over. Understand there may be no riders that are available and the ones that are want a Kings ransom but what price do you put on survival. Suspect crowd levels will fall dramatically after this last few days

I would imagine Berwick have failed to hit their break even figure on more than one occasion this season and as you say with play off hopes over crowd level will dwindle even more than they have at times this season.
DSC67
The club need to make a decision regarding the Claus and Ben situation soon , it's obvious that Ben won't be back this season and might not even be available for the start of next season depending on how his rehab goes . They need to get clear news from Claus as to when or if he's likely to return , if he's not going to ride again then perhaps they should look towards next season and get a new rider in who can get a chance to settle in without any pressure on him to perform miracles and save our season

If he does Berwick will still continue with R/R as Vissing could go above Barker in the averages when future months averages are published.
