spittalbandit
Danny King will be otherwise engaged on Saturday! Leicester v Coventry Never noticed that. still think s masters would be good choice for sunday. I see we have matej kus provisionally booked for saturday. I personally would have looked for a guest utilising the full point value for ben. However matej i sure wont let us down. Kus great at reserve but when he reach the main body of the team struggled against the top dogs but I am here to be proved wrong and I hope I am but sorry guys suspect our first home defeat of the season.
Bandits4eva
A good beating on Saturday is what I believe most of us are expecting...anything other then that is a bonus... I'm also disappointed we aren't utilising the full points available to us with Ben's average (and that is in no way any disrespect to Matej)... Robinh88
Sam Masters scored 8 points for Rye House... we know what we are getting with Kus I think he will score more than 8 on Saturday Only other choice was Bjerre, probs would score one or two more than Kus. Dury is out on Lasse Bjerre for me (still) as a Number One We are weaker (yes), but so are Glasgow now at reserve, I think Berwick will make a good fist of it We can't really afford not too Edited April 1, 2015 by MichaelKnightRider
screm
Shielfield specialist and cheap, what more could you ask for. I`m sure the cost in booking Kus was the last thing the promotion considered, surely it should be all about the job he will do on Saturday, clearly they think Kus will score what Barker would've. Absoutely pathetic but are we surprised. Have a number 1 in Ben Barker and choose Kus as a guest lol, deserve everything they get on sat. At least get Saturday night over with, the latest news letter asks of Glasgow " Can they really be that good ?" I guess we will find out on Saturday. I agree with you that Berwick go into Saturday`s meeting as under dogs but the promotion still has a duty to the supporters to put out the best team, they obviously think they are doing that with Kus at No1. If it works and Berwick put up a decent fight then great, if they get a humping most fans will question the decision.

smod
Replacing Ben Barker's points with an equal scorer is probably impossible. I believe Matej Kus scored more points at Berwick than any other rider last season, so why shouldn't he be as good a guest as you're going to find? Who else would be better, at Berwick, on Saturday?

His average around Berwick is 9.00 (including some absolutely crap meetings while he was low on confidence with Redcar). The only riders with higher averages are riders like Ricky, Complin, Allen, McGowan, Stead, Niemenin, Lawson and Doyle who for one reason or another can’t be used. Grajczonek and Fisher are racing at Plymouth, King is at Leicester and with Edinburgh visiting next week it is understandable that you would want to offer either Cook or Masters as little track time as possible. And even if they had have been available I wouldn’t have been that bothered for a Newcastle or Workington rider, decent sides, but neither have top end strength The EL riders who would fit would all be gambles given the lack of track time around Berwick. The only logical alternative I can see is Bjerre who quite possibly has commitments on the continent? Some people have the knives at the ready, hoping for a defeat on Saturday. One thing is for sure, we are certainly looking a lot stronger than the woeful Diamonds that visited us on Saturday. I'm not sure some of our closet Diamonds fans would have enjoyed that!
