emilali
Moral: Although injuries are inevitable, avoid signing riders who will miss matches...... Like they've done with Bellego for the past 3 years? And Kus when the Czech league want him? You really do make me laugh.

Hamster00
You need a strong reserve no matter whether you have a big hitting number one or not Edinburgh are proof of this year in year out We had an excellent year last year with a very average 1-5 due to having one strong reserve the wheels came of when both Kus and Jensen were in the main body and Matty wasn't 100% as proved by our home defeat to Edinburgh in the play offs with Sam Simota at reserve Edberg would be a good signing although I don't see him as a lead reserve that will get double figures I would rather see Doolan signed than Kus can't see Kus upping that average and on late season form Doolan looked back to somewhere near his best and has more scope to raise his average I think but I think they'll probably both be back. spittalbandit
I differ in my opinion. I would keep matej snd lose kevin if that is the option the promotion choose . Simply imo i think matej can still improve his average . Whilst i think kevin will not. Happy for both to be in team with branford at reserve. If just one kept it then give us choice to go with two five pointers and alex. This possibly the stronger option as will take time for jake allen to settle in i expect. Have had some good reports on him and by mid season think could be exceding his initial average .
emilali
I would be absolutely amazed if Kus improves his ave, but I'd love to be proved wrong.

Hamster00
cannot see Kev increasing his average either Kevs a better rider than 6.91 could see him going up to a 7.5 if he picks up where he left off its a big if though I differ in my opinion. Matej is a confidence rider, his confidence has never been this high before, so I see an small increase from him again, perhaps 7.9/ 8.
bigeddiechek
It's a tough one, if we need to choose between two. Both bring different things to the table. I can see Kus getting close to 9pt average if he achieves his full potential. Regardless of him being at reserve for a lot of the season. He took a fair few No 1s' scalps throughout the year. Personally, I like the idea of having both. Two solid, dependable riders.

Matej has always had the potential to do it and he did look superb last season I just think it's a big gamble and I already feel that Jorgensen is a big enough gamble For me it would be Kev but that's just my opinion he gives us more to play with average wise and he was Mr Reliable at the tail end of the season I think they will both be back though but based on the strength of some other teams that does make me think we may be toiling for another play off run. northyorksbear
With all that's kicking off on Somerset thread about Holder any thoughts/views on whether Allen is coming in on a 5 or 7 point average??
Hamster00
What about Doolan, Alex and Adam Roynon leaves us with 5.98 to play with It gives us a strong reserve in Roynon although he is very injury prone which would have to be considered I would say Pepe for the last spot but with his Longtrack commitments I don't see that happening Thoughts? Robinh88
I don't see Doolan or Kus being bad signings Kus in my opinion wont improve his average however he did us a good turn last season Still don't get Jorgenson though
