screm
Update on Olly Allen Injury not as bad as originally feared Doesn't need second operation Going home tomorrow with leg in plaster and will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks. Ligaments and tendons stretched which will take a while to recover. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.28561 Giving that doctors are saying there may be a six month recovery, Peterborough must surely be looking at a new No1. jenga
as i see it , its going to take 6 weeks before olly can put any weight on it . then there will be getting used to walking properly. then building the ankle/leg back up to strength. then there is practising on the bike to make sure every things ok. then its all about getting back into the groove.. so looks like a 8/10 week lay off at least.. be patient , its a human .

jenga
how hard is it going to be for the p/borough promotion to drop toft and bring adam back in.
Bagpuss
The best solution would be to keep both and add a seven pointer at the expense of Greenwood. Harsh on him but that's speedway and I'm sure he'd soon get snapped up.

Bringing Roynon in at reserve for Greenwood would leave around 7.5 to play with.
mudflaps
Agree. Bringing Roynon in at reserve for Greenwood would leave around 7.5 to play with. I agree cannot afford to get rid of Palm Toft..... The blokes great!! Greenwood does look vunerable at reserve I agree.... Now Roynon at reserve could be a trump card!! Now Roynon at reserve could be a trump card!! Not sure why Greenwood hasn't clicked yet this season. Last season he was in great form before he bust his collar bone. His maximum was testament to that. Also saw him score very well at Rye House for Panthers last season. Bit unfair to consider ditching him already. Lukas
Bottom line is Panthers need to win something this year to attract fans..success breeds success. The reason Poole do so well is because that annoying owner of theirs always makes the right moves in terms of riders and I hope our new guy does the same. I like what I've heard from him so far (like being angry with losing so ordering tonnes of shale-correct move). My point is they need to ruthless and do what's right in terms of personnel and if that means axing Olly G and bringing in a better rider (with keeping MPT) then that's what needs to be done..for the good of the club. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Is replacing Greenwood with a 7+ rider within the budget that the crowds allow though?? No point winning in 2015 and closing in 2016.
