2015 season ticket information now on website

http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/ticketoffice

I see Tsunami likes the post. At least he'll be able to get his application in now before Xmas. He doesn't need to attend but he knows speedway's not cheap to run and can show support to his fellow promoters :D

Only 'like'd it as they have gave you the info you were sarcastically commenting on. But then again, whenever have you been happy.

When you don't reply I'm very happy. Fans are told (well those of us who turn up) to check the website. That will be the first port of call for most people seeking information about Peterborough speedway so surely logic dictates that that's where important information should go first. Sarcasm works fine for me whereas I can see that you like to think of yourself as Sargeant Arthur Wilson when in fact you're not much different!

Those season tickets don't look such good value as the previous ones, especially if you do only get 18 meetings

There not , look at various combinations, season tickets , pay as you go , and the conclusion must be that not a great deal of thought has gone into the pricing.

Based on 18 meetings hardly any saving and as someone elsewhere has pointed out it is actually cheaper for a couple to have one buy a season ticket and the other to pay per meeting.

The requirement of photos further erodes the financial advantage of buying a season ticket

When I used to bother with a King's Lynn season ticket, they always required a photo to put on the season ticket, so that isn't unusual.

We had credit card style tickets for years which didn't require one so it was unusual at Peterborough until 2014. If the tickets are numbered and ticked off against the programme list, as they were last season, then that's a security check isn't it?

What I mean is that having to pay for a photo in addition to the actual ticket erodes the small financial advantage in buying one.

On a wider note I really do not see why season tickets should be solely for one persons use anyway. Not unusual in Football at least for people to have a share in a season ticket. A friend of mine has 6 Arsenal Season Tickets mainly for family but also to entertain business contacts. No problems from the club.

Surely the vast majority these days can do their own picture for little cost to themselves.

As for Arsenal, their general rules say: "the Season Ticket is issued for your sole use and you shall not sell, dispose of, assign, transfer, lend or otherwise deal with the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. "

As for the six, that's ok but one is for sole use: "If more than one Season Ticket is issued to you, one Season Ticket must be retained by you for personal use (subject to the provisions) and the remainder may be transferred to a Guest(s) for his/her/their personal use only (with provisos).

If you don't have a programme, & get a lift 18 meetings mean a season ticket will cost £30 more than paying on the gate each week !! BARGAIN.

Certainly hasn't taken long for the fundraising goodwill to retreat into it's bunker. You could see that £30 as your contribution (if you haven't already) and continued show of support. However, I'm not having a personal dig and can see your point of view, even if a somewhat extreme example.

If you ain't bothered about a programme but do pay to park, it's still cheaper to pay weekly.

Season tickets may not have a big financial benefit.

Clubs could possibly increase the take up if they added some non/low cost incentives for season ticket holders, e.g. occasional centre green visits, reserved prime seating, etc.

Here is an original thought, how about they set the season ticket prices at a price that it makes sense to buy one
