peterborough daz
I heard he won't be at Peterborough next year either, which will make it two seasons in a row. Lol personally I would go all out to get someone like Danny King back at the showground. Local, reliable and likeable and on top of that a true number 1 Edited August 16, 2015 by dazpanther

lewy
For a team that almost folded I do wonder if you deseved saving must be the biggest load of whinging, critical and bickering fans in the pl! For what its worth I think you have one of the most entertaining teams in the league and you're going to be involved in playoffs be thankful and stop whinging about anything and everything

Lukas
why did he push his bike into the pits then if he weren't going to ride? If he weren't going to ride you don't do that surely Why don't you ask him the next time you follow him to the shop??..mate get real you are talking #### and coming across a bit weird.. And in response to Lewys post.... To be fair Lambert gets stick because of his lack of commitment to us..and only that and rightly so IMO as he has only ridden half his fixtures for us with mostly feeble excuses like the post world cup and Fours fiasco amongst many others. He is one of the best young british riders ive ever seen but based on the way he has messed us about this season id rather not have him here again even though im a fan. This hasn't happened at all with Kings Lynn so they have no reason to give him stick but trust me with the lack of respect he has shown to the premier league he would get the same amount of stick anywhere else so it's nothing to do with people from Peterborough being whingers..give me a team full of committed Simon Lamberts anyday of the week instead. Crump99
Too many to list havent got the time! Top 5 will do then, that shouldn't take you too long considering our label: "biggest load of whinging, critical and bickering fans in the PL" Edited August 15, 2015 by Crump99

For what its worth I think you have one of the most entertaining teams in the league and you're going to be involved in playoffs be thankful and stop whinging about anything and everything Personally, I disagree with you completely,I have been supporting Panthers for many years, from where I sit at every home match I judge the fans to be thoroughly nice, supportive, also, appreciative of the visitor, clapping and cheering if they perform well, even if they are beating Panthers, you only need look at the reception Ollie Greenwood got at his last appearance for us. I know nothing about the ins and outs of Robert,I can however understand frustration of people, when it appears he chooses not to ride for us,e.g after the world cup, this is because we are so loyal, also don't forget a lot of fans contributed to the saving of the club, so this would suggest it was worth saving. I have enjoyed my Speedway this year at the Showground more than I have for a few years, long may it continue, with good team spirit and riders that want to be in our team, however good they are,if they are not 100% with us,I would rather be without them.

If he weren't going to ride you don't do that surely This is getting silly from you,Lambert said on Social media that he was injured why would he want to ride .It is yourself that state he was told he wasn't required not Lambert .You are just sh#t stirring IMO
peterborough daz
We may have nearly folded but crowds are on the up and the club is thriving thanks to a good promotion.

PE7Panther
Firstly there was no sarcasm in my post, if Lukas’ opinion based on his viewing of Panthers performances was that Simon Lambert is one of your top three riders, fair enough. That is what my posting was aimed at and with a genuine apology, however, as is your usual style, you felt the need to weigh in with a personal insult against the poster, I’m afraid that says much more about you than me! As to opinions and facts, statistics can be portrayed to represent a variety of views, but as speedway is regulated on riders’ averages that would be the obvious measure of a riders performance. Panthers’ website shows Simon Lambert is actually the fifth best performing rider of your current team in 2015. And that, oh clever-dick, is not an opinion; it’s a fact, easily verified! You were the one who made a snidey remark aimed at Lukas. I defended him - and then you squeal like a stuck pig! If you don't like it, don't give it out. You talk about 'facts'; most Panthers fans would contend that as Robert L has been missing so often his average isn't the yardstick to go by. What good is it having a rider who can bang in 8+ points but who only appears half the time, and who, much worse, keeps letting you down? Simon L missed the last meeting due to (genuine) injury, and up to then he had scored more points that Robert L. That's a FACT, easily verified! And whenever Simon L is missing nobody ever doubts the reason. And that, by the way, is another fact! See also Blackadder's post #3210; more statistical FACTS that blow holes in your comments! We should not be a door mat for a 17 year old albeit talented rider Good idea....but only on Sunday's. Our better crowds appear to be Sundays, only problem is it rules out riders with polish commitments Edited August 16, 2015 by dazpanther
Lukas
..also the track/racing has been considerably worse on Sundays.. Maybe they should consider just evening starts next season as Sunday afternoon (even since they changed it to 5pm) seems to blow our home advantage.

scoobydoo
Having someone like Danny King gives you a hard hitting big scoring number one but it then leaves the options for the remaining six riders limited got to say that Robert Lambert fits the bill better as hes an ever improving rider with potential to score near the equivalent of King but gives you better options further down the team but then there's the reliability issue . Crump99
That's the conundrum. Bugger crowds or better racing. My preference is for the former and a new owner (if Frost and Mahoney really have given up on finishing what they started) who has shedloads & can similarly sound blase and say: "Without wishing to sound blasé, it is not big bucks to us" and can return our status with regular weekday racing - Well we all need a dream

Ha Ha now who is squealing! Your big problem is that you like to bully others with your postings and then try and dress it up as "defending", tough you've been rumbled big style! Now part of your argument is that " most Panthers fans would contend that as Robert L has been missing so often his average isn't the yardstick to go by". Well done for acknowledging that averages are the yardstick to use, as points scored is irrelevant if you have had more opportunities and easier rides! But surely “most Panthers fans contend” is based on their OPINION – come on, if you are going to have a debate about using facts not opinions at least use arguments that support your point of view and not mine!
