Crump99
People who saw him turn up at the pits with his bikes Right, that's the easy bit, now who specifically told him that his services were not required? One assumes that they saw and heard that as well? Edited August 13, 2015 by Crump99
Blackadder
Actually mate ask any Panthers fan..Simon Lambert is one of our top 3 for sure this year..he has won us a lot of points.According to the SS FSL, your top 3 for performance against Start Of Season Average are Simon Lambert, Michael Palm Toft and Robert Lambert. The top points scorers, including bonus points, are Ulrich Ostergaard, Michael Palm Toft and Simon Lambert, who is 1 point ahead of Robert Lambert.
scoobydoo
People who saw him turn up at the pits with his bikes So far I think only ashtree123 said he was told his services were not required even RL own statement on Facebook suggested he was injured , maybe his bikes were unloaded and then it was decided he wasn't fit to ride
peterborough daz
The whole thing stank. Injured to ride for us but fit to guest for Rye etc Edited August 13, 2015 by dazpanther
scoobydoo
But didnt he hurt his shoulder after guesting for Rye putting his bikes away in his van then pulled out the fours with this injury not the hip injury he was struggling with from the Berwick match

ashtree123
Well yes, but many (most?) of us Panthers fans feel like we've repeatedly had kicks in the wotsits from Lambert, the non-return from the WTC being the worst example. That defeat was largely down to him - and it ain't the only one. Even though RL is undeniably a huge talent we just never get the feeling that he's one of us. Far from it; we all know he won't look twice at Panthers next season and it feels like we're being used. Ged Rathbone has back-pedalled a bit from his initial comments criticising RL for his stupid irresponsibility last week (his ma has probably been bending Ged's ear!), but stupid irresponsibility is exactly what it was. Jason Crump wouldn't have done it when he was the same age. It should have been a nailed-on 5-1, making the score 33-27 and therefore a very good chance of beating the Monarchs again. That's unarguable - and that makes TWO meetings meeting we've lost that's down to RL. . It would be nice if Lambert came out and admitted his mistake and apologised for costing us so dearly. He could even promise to do his level best for Panthers during what's left of the season. That might build a few bridges with the Panthers fans who, like me, are becoming increasingly disenchanted with him. Well he didn't have the resources of getting his bikes back I heard him talking to a fan at the 4s about it, How can you blame him for the defeat, the management must of been aware of his situation, maybe they are at fault as well, couldn't they of offered help in making sure his bikes got back!!! he weren't even riding so to blame him of the defeat is a bit pathetic How can Ged Rathbone be back-pedalling it weren't even him criticising RL it was the joke of a team manager CJ. If RL did come out and admit his mistakes and apologise, then I think he should also be joined by CJ and GR you cannot finger point at one person I am also getting disenchanted by the whole management/team myself

Yes Lambert was injured, but answer me this.......why would he turn up, unload his van an expect to ride, maybe lack of communication from the management, then a crowd around his van of management, saw some rye house fans walk up to van only to be sent away!!!!!!! Noodles
Then why didnt he ride for Lynn ?To add some substance to the story. The pending 28 day ban wouldn't just have been for Peterborough so it was in Lynn's interest to go along with it.I hear he won't be at kl next seasonI heard he won't be at Peterborough next year either, which will make it two seasons in a row.
