Robert Lambert statement

Big sorry to my fans for not being fit to race in the 4TT. I am the only one who know if I am fit or not and I am not.

Thanks to the fans who support me in my decision, but to the fans that don't appreciate my decision they are not worth the time of day to me.

Look to be out for the whole weekend and should be back again for Friday's meeting

Thank you all.

Better saying nothing than coming out with that statement IMO.How big is his fan club?

Ashtree123 post is interesting in comparison to his so called statement big difference here.

That's his real statement, it was on his Facebook page. Not sure what ashtree123 is talking about as Lambert himself has admitted he pulled out due to injury. Also admitted in his statement that he doesn't give a toss about his fans. He seriously needs somebody to help him with his PR as no statement would have been better than that one.

ULRICH UPDATE

Monday August 03, 2015
ostergaard_ulrich.jpgPETERBOROUGH captain Ulrich Ostergaard has become the club’s latest injury casualty.

The Readypower Panthers skipper Ulrich Ostergaard suffered broken bones in his left hand when involved a crash during the abandoned Premier League Fours meeting at the East of England Showground yesterday (Sunday).

Ostergaard tangled with Ipswich rider Nico Covatti in the sixth heat of the first semi-final in which Panthers brought up the rear on six points.

He underwent x-rays at Peterborough City Hospital where he was put into plaster before being released.

Promoter Ged Rathbone said: “The x-rays confirmed a number of breaks in Ulrich’s left hand and he will obviously be out for a while.

“The doctors told him to expect the recovery to take up to six weeks, but Ulrich is determined to be back racing within a month.

“It is the latest in a long line of injuries which have hit us hard this season, but we have battled on and are still in a good league position.

"We need to get through the two meetings against Edinburgh later this week as best we can and then take stock of the situation.”

Ostergaard, who relinquishes the number one spot to Robert Lambert in the new August averages, joins prolific reserve Simon Lambert on the injured list.

He is nursing a broken shoulder blade and is due to return to his specialist later this week for further tests.

The club will confirm their team plans for two fixtures in the space of three days against the table-topping Monarchs as soon as they are able to do so.

They travel to Armadale on Friday (August 7) ahead of a return clash at the East of England Showground on Sunday (August 9).
