Peterborough Panthers 2015

Recommended Posts

Sums it up today, Glasgow using roynon at reserve, and we're stuck with stormy weathers!

And it was a good point last night, was never going to be more with Morris guesting for Simon

Spot on how was this allowed to happen with our promotions relationship with the rider? Unless of course he was booked weeks ago.

Would have gone for Adam Ellis myself today

A point at Workington was good but if Grondal & Konopka could of shared ht14 there was a small possibility of Ulrich & Josh winning the meeting for Panthers but at it panned out it didnt matter, even though Konopka has picked up slightly i wouldnt trust him to come up with the goods especially when it matters , what is strange he seems to get so many guest bookings with his low average but hes got the average for a reason, and he rides most nights of the week but doesnt improve very quickly

At least from aug 1st Panthers revert back to having decent guests again at number one for when R Lambert crys off only Masters, Cook, King & Brady Kurtz are lower than him.

Porsing and Berge :approve:

If you want Porsing for Blackbird best Peterborough get a deal done before August. With Porsing's average going up slightly and Blackbirds going down he wont fit come the August set of averages.

If you want Berge I am sure that the Glasgow management would love to hear from you - buy or loan deal? If Redcar are the other option I doubt you will have any chance of getting him. I can see Glasgow letting him go to redcar after Mr Havelock proved so easy to deal with in the signing of Aaron Summers. Plus from Berge's point of view Peterborough or Redcar where would you want to live :o

Erm.... Peterborough, of course.

Who in their right mind would actually choose to live in Middlesbrough? It's SmogMonster-land!

We're just 45 mins from Kings Cross and that alone makes Peterborough the better place to live. We can earn double the salaries smoggies get up there, plus we get much more bang for our bucks property-wise.

Case closed.

Why would he have live in either Peterborough or Middlesbrough/ Redcar, Hugh Skidmore has always lived in Sheffield throughout his career.

He could live in Sheffield easy access to both tracks and have on had a fellow friendly countryman Bellego to make him feel more at home in this country.

Lewis Blackbird's injury has cleared up over the weekend it would appear, as he rides for Wolves tonight...

Yes. Promising news. I'm not personally going to say good news yet as he's still to turn a wheel for them tonight. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

PANTHERS PRAISE FOR BSPA

Monday July 27, 2015

PETERBOROUGH supremo Ged Rathbone has praised the British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA).

The governing body have granted Readypower Panthers special dispensation to use teen talent Robert Lambert and recent recruit Emil Grondal as injury replacements in the big Premier League Fours extravaganza at the East of England Showground on Sunday.

The club had feared they may not be able to field four riders due to having riders sidelined and others initially being deemed ineligible. They can now also use Rafal Konopka as reserve if necessary.

Rathbone said: "I applaud and thank the BSPA for giving us permission to track Robert and Emil in the Premier League Fours due to our exceptional circumstances.

"We now hope to be able to field a team worthy of such an occasion and capable of challenging to win the club's first trophy for some time."

The club will finalise their chosen quartet as quickly as possible.

:t: great news
