Peterborough Panthers 2015

Recommended Posts

perfectly illustrated by a rider 'progressing' from the EL with an average of 5.2 to the PL on an average if 4.92. wink/woof!!

What's that Lassie? You think the BSPA make it up as they go along? Good Boy, have a bone :D

I will pass on the bone thanks but if you insist on the dog treat analogy I will have a pigs ear instead - far more apt for the situation.

For variety of opponents it beats the EL hands down. I'm sure a few will miss the GP stars such as Holder, Harris etc, but the EL format with some of the reserves half a lap behind the front two can be tiresome to watch.

GP "stars" Harris and Holder? interesting

here's the article...

ADAM ON THE MOVE

Thursday April 30, 2015

PETERBOROUGH rider Adam Roynon is to make a temporary switch to Premier League rivals Redcar as he steps up his comeback from injury.

The 'Furness Flyer' suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung in a horror crash in the the very first lap of the 2015 season when the Readypower Panthers faced a Great Britain Select team at the East of England Showground.

Panthers drafted in Danish rider Michael Palm Toft as a replacement for Roynon and he will remain in the team after delivering a series of impressive performances.

Roynon has been back in the saddle with a number of practice laps in recent days and will now return to racing during a 28-day deal with the Bears.

The arrangement suits all parties with Redcar needing to cover the absence of Australian rider Hugh Skidmore, who suffered shoulder damage in a crash against Peterborough last Thursday.

Panthers supremo Ged Rathbone said: "Redcar are in urgent need of a rider and Adam needs the opportunity to race.

We can use guests providing Allen stays at no 1 in the averages

from panthers home page...

Long-term injury victim Olly Allen remains in the number one berth for May which means the club will continue to be able to draft in guest replacements.

You may choose whatever treat you fancy as long as it sticks out of the mouth a bit. We just need to establish whether or not you're gonna let go.

I will let go when all the pussycats all have new established averages which wont be too long anyway!

May only bark if there is a non like for like redclaration prior and the revised figures are not put in place for it.

Personally I'd let Swales & Rathbone sign who they want, get it approved by the BSPA under some clause that's not written down anywhere, then watch the fallout on the BSF - now that's entertainment :D

There is more to Supremo Rathbone than meets the eye..... in him we trust! :t:

Even with his best intentions and immense efforts for the cause of Peterborough Speedway Pat always seems a little too uncertain of the rules and regulations for my liking ;)

Can't trust anyone called supremo, it's the local journo equivalent of the Timeform squiggle! Rathbone isn't working in the self interest EL though is he. Tetley no doubt got stitched up numerous times just because of where he came from.

Have had a quick check of the Boro stats page and it looks like it should be 6.6 so just another BSPA error which they are likely to correct as they now have with the Davies figure. :P:o
