lionking
Obviously it is pending his polish deal but they have only used him on limited occasion this season due to money issues and he rides for Bydgoszcz so how will that work with Panthers Sunday fixtures ? so why do the rules need looking at ? This rule was made at the BSPA conference last November this rule has been stuck to so can't see the problem- it's your promotion that doesn't seem to no the rules or even what time there next home meeting starts as the start time changes daily. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I am lead to believe that Ged Rathbone has made an approach to Leicester to speak to Szymon Wozniak about doubling up for the remainder of the season. He will be a brilliant signing at PL level if you can pull it off he doesnt have an established average from 2014 so would fall foul of the same rule. This is making me feel a bit unwell as I find myself on the side of the pussycats on this one! Gold star to Northyorksbear though - you were spot on! SCB
What license does Konopka use? ACU (British) Wozniak cannot double up for the same reason Lambert couldn't last year. no previous average. Edited July 1, 2015 by SCB
Lukas
Why the hell did we sign konopka!!?..a staggering decision IMO..why not Roynan and another middle order man of which there are more available..then we would be a solid team.

If they were sticking to the rules it would have been 5-0, this whole thing stinks and unfortunately not for the first time. bigcatdiary
TBF, if I was a Peterborough fan I'd keep quiet about the BSPA getting things wrong after they let MPT sign no 5.5 and not the 7.5 the rules say he should be. . I have no idea why the BSPA kept quiet about the ruling that allows this, which has satisfied referees and other promoters and was previously explained. You know as well as I do that the regs are only a rough guide, they do pretty much what they want and interpret rules to suit their needs at the time.

SharpenRake
Don't like riders doubling up/down BUT it's a lot better than teams using guests and r/r all season. Have to feel for Panthers promoter and the fans.
Lukas
I think if we do sign grondal looking at his Danish scores..alongside konopka that will define our season (not in a good way)and will be a repeat of last season which you would have thought they would have learned from. peterborough daz
Apparently we have been told we can only sign a second string rider. Any ideas why? Surely any club not just panthers should be able to sign any rider this wish upto the average of the injured rider.

Thank you, whilst I sympathise with both Peterborough & Jacob Thorsell - I am pleased that a rule, which to me is quite clear, has been implemented, its unfortunate some others haven't! And if it is true the vote was split then it just reinforces the need for clear unambiguous rules with an independent person overseeing and enforcing them.

I agree and TBH I don't understand some of the comments on this thread. People have a whinge when the rules aren't stuck to, and when they are stuck to some are still whinging! This "special dispensation" lark is a nonsense as far as I'm concerned and opens up a whole can of worms. Where do you draw the line? You make the rules, the rules should then be adhered to. If some think that it's very harsh on Peterborough, tough! Edited July 1, 2015 by Hong Kong Phooey
Lukas
Peterborough have never been liked by the clowns at the bspa..off the top of my head there was the farce when Poole illegally used proctor and the result stood, there was the ridiculous overturned result at kings Lynn which ended our last season in the elite and they've blocked countless signings such as schein and for forsell. Them idiots on the panel are more corrupt than FIFA!
tomcook16
The 5.5 that you got for mpt average would have been his previous premier league average, that is why it isn't 7.5 like you would suggest
