Even if he gates well the opposition riders seem to pass him quite easily - and then it's another zero to his name. They gave him plenty of time but he wasn't getting any better. Not by my understanding of the team building rules - if you re declared now you would have Allen's 8.51 + Greenwood's 3.00 = 11.51 less 1.57 (difference between team total of 44.07 & permitted 42.50) giving you 9.94 for 2 riders so with Bowen say on 4.00 you have 5.94 left. To get Grondal in he would have to be Allen's replacement and then bring in another 3 pointer for Greenwood so you are not redeclaring just replacing like for like. Can't see this changing much in July's figures and once Lambert gets correct average situation will get considerably worse. Personally I think your management will have to go for a 3 point man at no.7 and my money is on Konopka!! (or Phillips ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So he'll have been able to ride for 4 months on the same starting average. Amazing (and very astute).
