Dodger Blue
Finding a like for like replacement for Allen is almost an impossibility I would think. The team mentioned with Kurtz is about as good as its going to get, I imagine we would have to go along this route as options are limited.

Noodles
Is it not given practice to opponents though?Number 1's with that sort of average will ride good wherever anyway. And it doesn't matter on away tracks of course anyway. Edited April 28, 2015 by Noodles
Panthers89
Agree with Noodles, these riders we are using have rode enough in the league to know what the tracks will be like, might aswell keep using guests!
peterborough daz
Using guests does nothing for the team spirit. Personally think the BSPS should put a limit in the amount if times you can use a guest rider

cambpanther
CAPTAIN IS AN ASSET Wednesday April 29, 2015 PETERBOROUGH skipper Ulrich Ostergaard has become a full asset of the club - and he wants to celebrate by winning more trophies. The Readypower Panthers have thrashed out a deal to secure his contract from former promoters Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney.Ostergaard, who was part of the Elite League title-winning Peterborough team of 2006, is one of the leading riders in the second tier of the sport – a point highlight by an average of close to eight-and-a-half points and a third-place in the Premier League Riders’ Championship last season. And the 34 year-old is hungry to bring more silverware to the East of England Showground. He said: “Peterborough has always been a special place for me.“I loved being part of the team that won the Elite League and I was so happy to return when the club came into the Premier League.“It is great to have Ged running the club and I know how ambitious he is. He wants to make it a success and I’m really proud to be a part of it.“He has always shown a lot of faith in me and I’m hoping to pay him back with some trophies. I think we have a team that can do it.”Promoter Rathbone is thrilled to secure a full transfer of a rider he also sponsors and mentors. And he is convinced it will prove to be a terrific piece of business with Ostergaard likely to be a cornerstone of the club's plans in the coming years.Rathbone said: “Ulrich is our captain and a top rider at Premier League level so we are delighted to have secured him as our own asset.“He performed very well last season, he is confident doing even better in the current season and I expect him to have several more good years ahead of him.“I would never have become associated with Peterborough were it not for Ulrich returning to the club ahead of last season“I must place on record my thanks to Rick and Julie for their help what I believe it is a very good piece of business for the club.“We work to a strict budget and buying Ulrich is considerably more viable financially than having to pay a loan fee annually to use him.”Ostergaard becomes the second asset of the Rathbone-led promotion after youngster Danny Phillips penned a deal on the eve of the season. With all due respect to Ostergaard, he's not an EL rider so I guess the Panthers have no intention of returning to the top flight anytime soon..
