Leicester Lions 2015

Weather watcher - The rider in question I am sure will raise a few eyebrows when he is announced by the club which I am sure will be done once all the paperwork is completed.

He is a shown to be a steady and consistent performer with a smooth style who can beat the best on his day which is ideal in what you need in a 3rd heatleader position.

This signing will hopefully give Leicester a bit more strength away from home on some of the smaller tracks like Belle Vue, Wolverhampton, Lakeside,Poole and Coventry. It is at these tracks the Lions struggled last season with no back up for Doyle but this year should be different with additions of Bjarne,Michelson and the new signing so if Wozniak struggles it won't matter so much.

Roll on the start of the season and hopefully a nice dry summer I saw a pic on the Internet yesterday of Wozniak with his Leicester bikes all ready and excited for the season

I've never thought of Poole and Coventry as 'smaller tracks' but I'm sure you are right. What is Leicester's track length because I can't find it on their website, although it's no doubt right in front of my nose.

I would like to see another young pole, Pawel Przedpelski, who raised a few eyebrows in Sweden and Poland last year and from what I seen i am sure he rode in Denmark as well.

He is still highly protected and would not be likely to feature in Britain, plus he has a 7.00 assessed average so that makes it impossible.

Shamek Pawlicki = Coventry asset but Poole have first option on him. Coventry set to announce their last rider and Poole their last two in Janowski and Gomolski ? so if he is available he is by far the best option

Joonas Kylmakorpi - Has made it clear he wants to ride here and was hoping on joining Wolverhampton but that has gone and it seems Coventry and Leicester are his only options

Either way, I can't see them making the top four

Think it was originally 320, then they chopped a bit off its about 317 I think.

Burrows? :D

Leicester is not a track to bring out burrows talent. He would be wasted there.

Or maybe he's the rider needed to make leicester track look good

Are the current Poole and Coventry tracks the same length as the 1960's tracks?. I visited both and don't remember them as being particularly small, though of course after West Ham every track was smaller. Wimbledon always struck me as small but I'm sure Poole and Coventry were larger.

There was the suggestion that Leicester were looking to make another change to fit in the last rider. Maybe the young Polish lad has been dropped and replaced by Klindt with Pawlicki joining as the last rider.

How does the present Leicester track compare with the old Blackbird Road track, both in size and racing experience?.
