weatherwatcher
The spped things are going at in getting the last 2 riders the only Holder will be Noddy Holder from Slade. Give him a few spins round BP and make him a heat leader.
SteveLyric2
Holder ;-) Holder won't be riding for anyone unless his visa situation is sorted soon!!!
Crazy robin
Holder won't be riding for anyone unless his visa situation is sorted soon!!! Doesn't he need a club first for it to proceed?.
Alan_Jones
Holder won't be riding for anyone unless his visa situation is sorted soon!!! Doesn't he need a club first for it to proceed?.I would think that under the new stricter visa regime he needs to switch back from a Tier 5 to a Tier 2 visa. ...but now having second thoughts as I can't rememember if he was one of the riders that switched visa type last winter. No, he wasn't!! His issues re his 'renewal' are to do with him being virtually unemployed in the UK apart from the 28 day facility to cover for Ward's injury. Maybe his reasons for coming back to the uk to race are purely visa related?
weatherwatcher
They seem to be making it harder and harder every year for the Aussie lads to try and race over here. Yet uncle Tom Cobbly and all for other countries seem to be flooding in. The EU rules are just to silly to laugh at as well as our own.

All sorted now though - signed for Poole so he can be crossed off Leicester's list!!
weatherwatcher
From the way things are looking at Poole they have given up on Ward. He now sits in no mans land. So maybe the Poole management know what his fate his for the stuppidity for this year at the GP's. Not looking very good on the Lions though as time is fast approaching the start of the new season and still 2 places to fill, not really sure that there are many big names left in the hat to pick from now. Maybe Santa will spring a few surpprises. Nice to see that Max Clegg has been given the captains role and No.1 at Cradley, good luck to him, hope he can go on improving.

Considering Darcy's hearing is not until 08 January I think that is unlikely...............MF probably has several permutations of teams up his sleeve but whether Darcy is in any of them is anyone's guess.................. weatherwatcher
Dixie Dean. The same to you and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all Lions fans who come on here. Hope we have some news on the rider front before the New Year comes along. Surely DH and the rest of the gang there have now got some idea on who will make up the rest of next years team, or is it that they just don't want to make all Lions fans suffer a misserable Christmas.

Skodaman
It appears that someone at Speedway Star doesn't know the difference between Leicester Super and the Blackbird Road Stadiums. The article about Leicester Super in the current edition features a photo of the Blackbird Road Stadium!!

INCOGNITO
Richie Worrall is a rider that would interest Poole as he fits nicely in the space left when they add Shamek or Watt and Gracjzoneck or Milik to Holder and North. Adrian Meidzinski is rumoured to be lining up in the UK next season and most put him going back to Poole. However he is now team mates with Doyle at Torun so it could be here races for Leicester before both fly out to Poland ?

Miedzinski contacted Matt Ford at the beginning of December to say he was keen to do a whole season in EL, but MF put him in touch with Rosco - as he's Swindon's asset! If he does end up at Leicester, I guess that could be another transfer negotiation/arbitration!!?

weatherwatcher
Don't think that Swindon have a place for him the same as it was for Jason until they decide that they want some money to be made out of them. Time this whole asset isue was put to rest as a rider will go where he is wanted and who looks after his interest, before he even thinks about the club he is an asset to. Then all that happens is the S##t hits the fan as is the case with Jason now. It has all gone very quite on that issue though.
