Leicester Lions 2015

Yes I am sure that any of the other EL teams would look very kindly to DH talking to any of there riders and then stealing the top riders from their team very kindly.

So just tell me who are all the other riders that DH can call upon. He tried with some and they just don't want to or can't be bothered to come and ride over here. We have seen it the last 2 years that the ones that do come over are only here until their teams in Europe start up, then they are off faster than a flock of pidgions. Would be great to see the likes of Emil or the Lagutas come over, but they just don't want to know. Any other of the top riders have already got a team place, most of them sorted even before the season finishes. So Speedybee. If you can do better, come to the Lions and put the team together for next season.

Yes we will be there using our own assets while you will be using everyone's cast offs.

Assets mean jack...any rider can ride for whoever they want.....who can legally stop them.

Im not sure speedybee will be too happy with you throwing questions at him TBH . I on the other hand don't really mind .but if you cannot see the spelling of my username properly through your rose tinted spectacles even though I have posted on Leicester threads hundreds of times . I won't be bothering to debate anything with you ,

Update on parking in the shopping centre car park for 12 minutes too long. Teh parking company have got bored after 4 letter, get have now got a "debt collection agency" (that's not actually a real debt collection agency, as there is no debt!!) to send me a letter saying if I don't pay by Teh end of the month they'll pass the debt to the "creditors" and recommend they "commence court action".

As before, they'll have a long wait before they get a response from me :D

Perhaps get to see you on a TV programme yet as the bailiffs come knocking on your door seizing assets to cover the fine.

Just as an after thought what happened to that old rhyme 'i before e except after c'?

SCB.

It makes you wonder if it is worth all the hasttle to bother someone over being 12 minutes overstay in a carpark. What a sad world we live in. Shame that they just haven't got better things to do with their time. Keep fighting mate and I hope you win this one.

The point is that anyone who wants to come to BP with a family and turn up well before the meeting starts so that they can go and have meal, then the meeting as at normally does runs late, they are going to end up being well over the 4 hours that they allocate as free parking, so maybe it is time for this to be changed to 5 hours or get the meetings to finish on time. Went to one meeting with my grandson who is 9 and it was getting on for 11.30 p.m before we actually arrived home. Not much fun when you don't live locally, when the meetings go on until after 10 p.m.

Exactly what you describe is what happened. I took my niece out for the day, we went to the zoo in the day so needed somewhere to eat, so before the meeting went into the pub in the shopping centre, after that we went into Tescos to buy some sweets and drinks for during the meeting. Then we went into the speedway and stayed for the second half.

The fact they think they can try and charge someone for being 12 minute over in a free car park when 90% of the car park was empty by the time we returned to the car is madness.

As for fighting, so far I'm ignoring letters. If and only if (as I fully expect them to drop it before then) I get a court summons, then I'll start to fight. I'm all for people paying fines that are fair and justified but 12 minutes in a free car park after using the facilities?! They're having a laugh!

I'll update people on this thread as I'm sure others will be effected by it.

I'm just wondering how you managed to only be over by 12 minutes after parking the car, eating in the pub, going to Tesco, walking to the stadium, queueing to get in, watching the match plus 2nd half then walking back to the car park again with a probably tired 6 year old by then.

SCB efficiency :D I don't do hanging around and I don't get anywhere earlier than I need to! I often walk into speedway meeting as the 2 minute warning is going on for heat 1 :D

Ah.....so you are one of the fans who get some meetings delayed because they don't turn up until the last minute and find themselves in a big queue. :P

Always said that meetings should start on time. Annoys me meetings start late! But with speedway meetings often starting late there's no need to turn up early.
