mdmc82
Never mind Lions fans, there should be a safe 3 points in the bag when the rag, tag, and bobtail Aces visit on Saturday Not so sure. They only just missed out at King's Lynn. Wonder who guests for Cook.

pointsmeanplayoffs
I think that Rory or Korpie would fit ? It will probably be Rory, he guests so much he probably has a race jacket for each of the EL teams in his van : ) Get's him track time on 'away' tracks so should benefit Lynn when we visit there. barrow boy
Oh dear that latest article about Mr Hemsley now being in the pits trying to advise riders is only going to end in trouble and unhappy riders. I remember the first season it was a disaster and it got to the stage where riders were saying if he is in the pits I am not riding hence why they brought in Jason Attwood. He used to try and tell riders on the lines to ride and how to do cutbacks like he was riding his cycling bike I really cannot see Doyley and Norrie being happy with that or even listening to him personally I think it's a wrong move by the club but shall have to see how it works. He didn't say that he would personally become involved. He said that more time must be spent on the passing of track conditions etc information between the management and the riders. Maybe he was simply implying that the present team and officials should ensure that this is in fact done.

1 valve
Which is sort of saying they're not doing their job properly? Which they are not...otherwise we would have a win or two under our belts or at least closer results and a point on the table. I have no problem with the owner and employer making sure his team get the message. Thats good management and not something to be critical of. Lets see what happens over the next few meetings. BTW I understand Doyley rates DH highly as a promoter so I do not think there will be too much harm done there...not sure he feels the same about the team manager. weatherwatcher
As you say we will see if things change any, something has to be done fast, because the way things are going, the team that looked so good on paper, will be the team in the EL that fail to win a meeting, things need a big shake up and fast. TMW
They've only lost one meeting. It's hardly the league is it?
mdmc82
They've only lost one meeting. It's hardly the league is it? Agree. I think at home Leicester should be able to beat a lot of teams. It's just their away form that needs improving but it's early days. Does anybody know when Mikkel is due back?
GoldenGauntlet
Agree. I think at home Leicester should be able to beat a lot of teams. It's just their away form that needs improving but it's early days. Does anybody know when Mikkel is due back? One of my main concerns for this season was that in the early part Lions wouldn't have much of a home advantage due to the wholesale team changes that left only one rider in the team with a proven record around the Leicester track. Pre-season practice gave them an advantage against what was at the time a very weak Coventry team in the EMB, but against better teams with riders who can ride the Leicester track they're going to struggle to take maximum home points. Too early yet though to write off riders or the team as a whole.

weatherwatcher
Can't see Norrie being there much longer. May be wrong, but I think the writing is already on the wall. If they lose many more meetings he will be gone. And not before time. Don't think he should have been back this season, there are far better guys out there, that know how to work alongside the riders not pull against them.

weatherwatcher
It would not be a bad shout to get Phil Morris. Not sure if he would miss to many Saturday meetings with his GP role this year. But do they not run the EL when it is GP night. He is one person who knows how to get the riders to work well together. Just don't like Norries attitude towards the riders. Not sure how anyone at work would feel if you under perfomed and the works manager, put an article about you in the local paper, instead of having you in the office and telling you face to face. No different.
