robert72
Leicester to open their season with a big meeting. The Elite Riders Championship on Saturday 21st March Big meeting ? It's no longer a big meeting as the EL no longer have the big world class riders.racing in it. Even our number one British rider has turned his back on EL racing. I guess it will be over priced too. Looking forward to hearing who the 2 remaining signings are
flagrag
It looks like the East Midlands bowl meeting at Leicester also clashes with Peterborough's opening meeting against Team GB so what is going to happen if Rosco selects Harris and King ? I would not be surprised if he picks Garrity as well at reserve. Also who gets priority over Simon Lambert on this date Peterborough or Leicester as both challenge matches. I also feel sorry for Rory Schlein as well with these meetings taking riders away from his own already planned and deserved testimonial. lionking
Robert the format changed last season it's not just riders who compete in the EL who take part. There is a good chance you will get GP riders in the field who are looking for vital track time before the first GP 2 weeks later. I would expect Greg Hancock to be in the line up because he is set to line up in the Ricky Ashworth benefit meeting 24 hours later at Sheffield. Big meeting ? Big Al
So will many of these GP-types who show up, be doing it mainly to test setups and prepare for the real action further ahead? £25 quid (or whatever) to watch a practice session in the cold? I know what I'll be doing (not)!
TitusTokio
You would hope & imagine he will take the chance being as it's so close to him I bet he'll be the only non EL face. Some Premier League riders too no doubt.

SteveLyric2
It would appear that the date for the ERC should NOT have been made public by any EL team!!! (Not now on the Leicester list but still on Lakeside's) Nor any of the BSPA shared events by all accounts!! The Lions have moved the start time to 12 noon so hopefully supporters and riders can get to Kings Lynn and support Rory.
