dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Underlines their deserved position as favourites. Handled the pressure of what couldve been a tight call very well it seems to win comfortably in the end.

Unless you're thinking about the group coming down to race points already, 3 points in the bag is fine with me at this stage.

topsoil
Excellent performance from Kevin and well backed up by Alex Edberg. Matty had a decent night still coming back to fitness. Unfortunately not backed up by our normal big scorers. Chuffed for Kevin coming into form these past couple of months after a tough start to the seasson. Must take all three points tomorrow night if they we are to have any chance of winning the group, but that is going to be a tough ask. Bandit59
Dont know why i bother going to watch Berwick up there after 2 heats it went downhill. After Vissings second ride and Bellegos second ride they should have just put their bikes back in the vans. How Vissing got heat 15 i dont know and Matty only getting 5 rides,Doolan best by far Edberg was good when he gated otherwise he seemed uninterested not finishing 2 races. Mr Blobby
Cracking result without the skipper. tracked seemed a bit tricky but we pulled through and got all 3 points.

The aim will surely be to Yes take 3 points but to win by a bigger score than Edinburgh did to put them top. Berwick have decent record at Workington so who knows they could sneak the group? cyclone
Given Deek's GSA of 4.51, the choice of PL guests were fairly restricted. Although the Danes, Lykke, Barrett, & Nielsen were eligible, I would guess they were back home in Denmark as they do not have scheduled PL fixtures for a while.. Konopka was ineligible as he had already guested for Newcastle here last Saturday. That left Luke Bowen, Oliver Greenwood,Tom Perry, Joe Jacobs, and Simon Lambert from the PL, and possibly Ben Morley, James Sarjeant, Nathan Greaves, & Max Clegg from the NL. How many were willing and able to travel to Armadale at short notice is another matter. So for Max Clegg to accept the booking, we should be grateful for his commitment. Monarchs struggled to get into their stride early on, and despite the impressive performance of Doolan, and useful contributions of Edberg & Wethers, the remaining Bandits were poor. Bandits will probably pick up the three match points at Shielfield today, so expect this section to go down to the wire, with all three teams giving little away at home. screm
Thirty nine points round Armadale is something of an achievement for Berwick, though sadly there were no points to be had. Creditable scores from Doolan, Edberg and Wethers, while our No1, a former Edinburgh rider didn't bother the scorers to much, though to be fair to Vissing he does have a big meeting in Poland on Sunday to concentrate on, certainly way more important than representing our club at Sheffield in the PLRC. How he got to be considered good enough to do Ht15 beggars belief.

Bandit59
even i could not work that one out either Me neither looked like a NL rider than someone who spent all last season there dont understand why Stormy didnt get 7 rides think we could have got 2 OR 3 points more .Harkness more astute at switching reserves around heat 8 and 11. me2
Edberg was on fire. It's all about consistency of course, but if he rode like that all, or even most of the time he'd be going places. He was very impressive. Regarding Wethers, he saw the doctor at the end of the meeting and was signed out of tonight's meeting. Most likely no one outside the Berwick management knew he was ill. Seems he was pretty bad, which makes his score even more impressive. Vissing was rank. Doing a Wolbert. A performance from him could have changed everything. Bandits4eva
A performance from him could have changed everything. It may just have done but alas it didn't happen... to compare him to the way KW has performed over the season tho stinks! He's been superb over the length of our season and I would welcome him back to our team next season very happily...
