pandorum
Coventry had the date first and King's Lynn were added to make it a double header, so they were listed second. But since the Coventry match makes no difference to league placings, but the King's Lynn one will decide first and second in the league, I would guess that the BSPA and the 3 teams involved agreed to run the important one first. Possibly a rare example of the BSPA using common-sense? Though I expect some will complain about it for no reason. The KL match is second according to BSPA website which is dafter than daft UPCOMING FIXTURES... 22/09/14 1900 Belle Vue v Coventry (EL) 22/09/14 2045 Belle Vue v King's Lynn (EL) Edited September 22, 2014 by pandorum

bellevueace
Must admit if this wasn't the last meeting of the season I would be thinking twice as we probably wont get the second match completed due to sky,s presence, just hope the racing is as good as last week against Eastbourne but as the tv cameras are present sods law and all that. King's Lynn were added as a second match to make a double-header. But common-sense seems to have attacked the BSPA and it's been switched round so that the more important match is run first. (However I still wouldn't be surprised if everyone turns up to find a referee insisting that Coventry has to be run first because it's the first page in the programme and he doesn't want to turn back for match 2 and smudge his writing)

pandorum
It's been reversed, Kings Lynn are first. Excellent but I hope you are basing that on something more than blind optimism as it does not say that on BSPA or belle vue the fixture sections

Bagpuss
Depends where Trees live. I use to reckon on 3 hrs home from Liverpool at night,.............. In a Van. Fair point, she should be able to do it in 210-220 mins. Anything around four hours or more at that time of night and she's had a stinking run! SUPERACE
The Curfew is 10:30. In last weeks double header the first race started dead on 7pm the last race of meeting 2 finished at 10:29pm. Add sky to the equation and I just cant see 30 heats of racing. I think they'll easily get a double header in by 10.30pm, but the Sky listings have the match 7pm-10pm, and I think that could be a bit tight and will overrun 10 mins or so. Kings Lynn wouldn't have any to borrow which is why they are using bees Looking forward to Pearsen & Tatum explaining why there are 2 almost identical teams lol

It could only happen in speedway!!!! Wouldnt surprise me to see them 'borrow' Belle Vues' riders!!!!!! Purely in the interests of speedway obviously...... Say the following in the style of Nigel P "So here we go with the last heat of the night and it promises to be a cracker" "In Red for the Aces is Matej Zagar, and he is partnered by Scotty Nicholls in Blue. For the Bees in White we have Matej Zagar and he will be partnered in Yellow by Scotty Nicholls, a great race to finish the meeting Kelvin"... "You can't take your eyes off this one Nige"...
