Super Blue
Crowds will always look small at Foxhall as it holds 20,000 people and they are always well spread out , although to be fair numbers have been dwindling for some while now . Baldyman
I thought the play offs were meant to be money spinners? Although some are saying why the crowds won't be any bigger lol. Having said that, it was definitely warmer 2 weeks ago, when it was pencilled in for
spanner47
reasonable crowd !!!!! it will be enormous its the play offs the panacea for all that's wrong with speedway. In the unlikely event it's double figure temperatures when the final comes around, we'd get a big crowd then, But not going to be easy getting to that, unlike the KO cup final which will be raced sometime on a cold winters night with hardly anybody there. Crowds have been pretty good lately, so just hope they all keep coming for another 3 (hopefully 4) meetings. Come on lads, 15pt win will do fine tonight.

Think there will be a decent crowd actually for the KOC final no matter how cold it is. It's a final and we've been starved of success in recent years so I'd hope a cup final would be fairly well supported. Even more so if it's a second leg at Foxhall and the tie is finely balanced. Edit: Sorry Plymouth fans, a little disrespectful to be talking about a final when there is still a second leg of a semi final to complete. iand
won't running against the ELRC affect the crowd size?
lucifer sam
won't running against the ELRC affect the crowd size? I doubt it - surely Ippo and Scunny fans will watch this rather than a watered-down ELRC. All the best Rob

Fromafar
but what about the neutrals in the area?If they have any sense they will go to Ipswich.£25 to watch a sub standard ELRC is a joke .
June
Good luck SCORPIONS.....Were missing 2 good riders but all is not lost....Come on Josh you've been here for the Scorps so many times we can do it. Stay safe all riders, do your best is all we ask. GOOOOOOO SCORPS!!!!
Fromafar
It's the gumph that gfoes with them that doesn't help. The EL is now established with a 4-team play-off system with fixed dates. The Witches have qualified for this mini-group idea both times, and both times they've had to delay fixtures because teams couldn't manage them - which is totally stupid. I don't see the value in a 6 team play-off, which is decided by the pointless mini-league - other than potentially two "money-spinning" matches, but that's very much a gamble. Also, teams with injury probems are put under undue additional pressure. Agree, needs revamped possibly to same as EL ,Top 4 Play off.It could be Berwick vWorkington in a couple of weeks time are meaningless after this week end.3 week gap which Berwick are having is not what you want at this time of year. 2ndbendbeerhut
Weathers been good today, only 6c this morning but better now. As is always said about Foxhall, it will be cold tonight so wrap up warm. Will also effect the bikes and most of the Witches will not have ridden since the cold spell. Scunthorpe weakened by Lemon and R/R, much will depend on how many rollers Klindt gets away with and what Howe and Auty turn up....Should be a Witches win though. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Hoping for a drama free 14-20 point Witches win. Would be great to have all the points wrapped up by about heat 10 so we can relax and enjoy it!
eric i
Its a blow to be missing Douglas, but I think Scunnys biggest loss is Birks. At the EWR I would expect him to score double figures from his 5 or 6 rides, I doubt Ben Wilson can match his scores. Hope I am wrong though. Baldyman
So much for the myth that is a play off bumper crowd money spinner, certainly no bumper crowd here tonight, it's not cold, it's not wet, no excuses, just little interest these days.
