marko
Think i will put up with the crap racing and bumbling presenters to see how this turns out, im thinking comfortable Pirates win by around 14-16 points Two riders excluded already for jumping at the tapes and Steady got away with a flyer, mind you only way Lions will win is by cheating like that though
Steve0
Morris and North both riding for Poole - so it's Swinpoole tonight??? Surely there should be a rule that limits guests to one from a single team - or better still - none at all!

Bagpuss
I actually meant when he missed their meeting - THAT could be deemed as 'with-holding his services', not AFTER he was sacked lol. Ah I'm with you. I assume that he must have had a docs note for that night, and then he subsequently turned out for them against us last Thursday so I don't think he could possibly be deemed to have been withholding his services. The sub 6 point PL guest tonight suggests that too, and means he can be used as a guest in the Play Offs so happy days. Well done to Poole for topping the table by the way, can't see us avoiding defeat at Belle Vue on Monday although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong. Can't say they don't deserve it really for taking four points away from home twice this week and taking four from the NA last month.

Nice of you to say so Baggy,i still think you will get the result you need at Belle Vue on Monday.Out of curiosity if you finish top who would you pick. Kerr could score 12 and Lambert 4 or 5 leaving the rest with, in the scheme of things, not a great deal to do. Use Hans and Harris (already there for the first meeting) as guests and they should be good for the best part of 20 (score 22 last time). Surely Rory, Robert and Nik Porsing can score 10 between them! the second strings will have 8 between them beating the reserves. Harris guests for Kings Lynn on Monday at Belle Vue Everyone's a winner then. I must point out that my comments are in no way a dig at Coventry, they will be difficult opponents for anybody but the results that Swindon and Poole have had at Lynn this year speak volumes and Coventry don't really have any Lynn specialists like Kildemand, Batchelor, North, Magic, Milik etc. Anyhow I expect Poole to finish top and pick Coventry anyway. And in reallity, KL do deserve to finish top. Thats where my niceties end. Avioding defeat at BV will not be as easy as it will seem, and im not sure a point will be enough. They will go up there knowing they need more than a point. I bet Rob Lyon was Sobbing in his Cornflake supper tonight after the events unfolding and Lynn making the running all season. Still, thats Speedway. Did i not hear rain mentioned for next Monday in the Manchester area?? Nope now all the presure is on Lynn, and they will feel it come tapes up.. Nerves will be rattling like there Exhaust pipes.. Piratepride !! Edited September 18, 2014 by Starman2006
Bagpuss
A point won't be enough Starry, we need at least a draw. Not impossible but improbable considering the Aces home form and ours away. But you never know. Whatever happens on Monday shouldn't detract from what has been a very good regular season with records broken.
Gavan
I really don't get why people are bothered about who finishes top as it makes no difference at all. Last year Poole were 4th and won the play offs easily as due to the luck they had they were able to field a strong side. Irrelevant of who finishes top it's blatantly obvious Swindon are the strongest side and are the hot favourites. I do feel sorry for Lynn though having to struggle on without the leagues best rider. If there was any justice Lynn would be champions but my head says Swindon.

But if you're going to win it, you need to be the best so it shouldn't really matter. I'm still hopefully that Hansen get a 4 week flu
Skodaman
No wonder Leicester kept the guests quiet.Surely there were better guests out there for the Pole.No disrespect to Tungate but the EL has took a backwards step this season IMO.Another match with over a third made up of guests. Leicester did not keep it quiet; Norrie said that at 12:30 they were still arguing with the BSPA whether they could use a guest or not for Mads.
