BuxtonTiger
Can anyone explain the logic or reasoning behind the entries for the above. Am I being simple or with eight teams in the league would two riders per team be a correct and fair system.

So do you suggest we have 2 x 3 pointers from Scunthorpe, and some 4 pointers from other Teams, I have no idea of the line up, but as its the National League Riders Championship, i would have thought the 16 best riders available on a neutral Track would have been fairest, then you would have a better chance of getting the True Champion.
flipper11
Just looked at the line up for the NLRC & seems fair to me, I think its right there should be at least 1 rider from each club, Having the possibility of 4 riders from clubs like Kent/Cradley & none from clubs like Scunthorpe/Buxton does not seem fair to me. Being held on a neutral track (Rye) is good too. Josh Bates has a wild card which as British U21 champ is a good idea but I don't see why Max Clegg gets a wild card. morganbike
16 best riders from NL racing on a neutral track would be the ideal but from the lineups unfortunately not the case.
Shadders
The tight Rye track will catch a few of the less experienced riders out on Sunday. Could be in for a long afternoon. For my money it's Steve Worralls to lose. Can't see anyone else getting close Edited September 25, 2014 by Shads
jenga
if any rider drupped out due to polish fixtures they could be replaced by an elite league rider. some one liks scott nicholls etc.
P T Preece
Is the line up advertised how they will ride in the meeting, barring Ollie greenwood of course who got injured last night at coventry, good luck to him and hope it heals quickily. Its a while since I went to Rye and looking forward to it hope the weather holds.
DragonsDen
With only 9 replies that could be how many people go to this meeting, poor show putting it on a Sunday afternoon especially with lots of other sport on including the Ryder Cup final day!  Not the most enthralling list of riders and @ £16 admission it’s a tad over the top for me.  Good luck to all those taking part and my next meeting will be next season if any teams survive the winter! P T Preece
it depends on what you want to watch, do you want to watch a bunch of kids trying to make there way in the sport you follow, being paid a pittance and risking there lives to give you some entertainment or watch a few very well paid premadonnas sticking a little ball down a hole 18 times. If it comes down to Balls I think the speedway riders has bigger ones. Speedway every time for me.
phillipsr
Silly putting it against the Ryder Cup. Pay £16 to watch follow the leader in a rundown stadium or watch the best in the world create tension and excitement. I know where i will be. Sunday roast, beer, Ryder Cup-if Carlsberg did sundays

Shadders
First impressions are a lower crowd than expected, but there's still 45 minutes until the start time, so plenty of time to fill out. it depends on what you want to watch, do you want to watch a bunch of kids trying to make there way in the sport you follow, being paid a pittance and risking there lives to give you some entertainment or watch a few very well paid premadonnas sticking a little ball down a hole 18 times. If it comes down to Balls I think the speedway riders has bigger ones. Speedway every time for me. You forgot to add, "if you think you can do better"... etc. Rather watch top class sportsmen, or a bunch of kids trying to negotiate a tricky speedway track? I'd have rather watched the golf, but the other half wanted to come, so here we are

Blackbird
Having seen the behaviour of the Cradley riders and fans today can I respectfully suggest they need to calm down... a lot!
Shadders
They were fine until heat 20, then they went nuts!! Very funny watching them kick off. I really hope they move up a league next year.
