scotchopper
I know that no one is really taking this seriously but the best example in speedway is daugavpils from Latvia competing in the polish league. Nothing to see here you will always be welcome in Scotland x
Bellers101
If Scotland vote yes then it will interesting to see who signs for the Scottish clubs as their currency de-values against the English pound.

Paulco
Anyone who votes yes is as bonkers as Salmond. The Independent Scottish speedway league would be fun though ... Tunnocks Tea Cakes Spring Trophy - usual season opener to establish early bragging rights. League Cup will be three matches home & away, with the top two qualifying for the Final, which can be squeezed in as an after-thought. The League Cup has no hope of ever finding a sponsor. Irn-Bru Scottish League will be eight matches home & away, with the top two qualifying for the play-offs - which can be held the week after the league finishes. Tunnocks Wafers Scottish KOC-Up - the first, second & third rounds, plus quarters, semis & the Final can be held in one home & away fixture! Monchat Scottish Cup - staged on the basis that the Moanarchs win it. Rain-offs wouldn't be a problem, because a double-header can be arranged for the following week. All matches to be screened live on BBC Alba. You should head the BSPA , your organisational skills would be much needed there .

Dont forget which ever way you vote, one half of Scottish people think the other half is nuts for the way they are going to vote. That is if the polls are to be believed

lucifer sam
Don't forget the extra 2 league matches each club are allowed to select. Don't want to be seen to be different Also when it comes to the play-offs, the top team selects their opponents for the group stages of the play-offs, from the one team remaining. So: Regular league fixtures: Each of the teams meet each other eight times home and away. Wolbert to miss final regular league meeting due to a dodgy burger. In addition, each team also have an extra two league matches against another team of their choosing from the one other team. The top two progress to the play-off groups, with the top team selecting for opponents for the group stages of the play-offs. The top two from the group progress to the final. Edinburgh beat Glasgow 25 times (Blobby turns into Count Von Count again), but the second leg of the final is not staged to Ashfield due to a missing band aid plaster, and therefore the trophy is shared between the two teams. All the best Rob
