Will Edinburgh And Glasgow Be Part Of British Speedway After Thursday?

Recommended Posts

It the North East chucks in with the new Scotland, can we vote out Sunderland and give them independence from us.

yeah,,, just put a big fence round it, (electric) but put the meter on their side :-)

oh!!!,,, we could put some Swedish guards on it aswell,,,

You do realise that as a Tory voter in the Scotland/North East alliance, you're likely to be either cast into the wilderness or stoned? :o;)

All the best

Rob

or both, together,,, man ;-)

Quite so. It's never as low as 50%. More like 80%.:P

unlike our southern friends who in this topic have proved they must be nearer 80% bonkers? lol

Some of us are more than happy to stay on the English side of the border! :approve:

Phew!!!! ;)

So it looks like even on something that seems starightforward like putting it up the English that Glasgow and Edinburgh still have to go against each other!!

Well that's all sorted then. Glasgow and Edinburgh don't need to ride each other every week after all. They can just continue with the current arrangement of riding against each other in the Premier League, the Premier League again, the League Cup, the Scottish Cup, the highly-prestigious and the award-winning design of the Spring Trophy, the Knockout Cup Semi-Final and anything else I've missed ;)

All the best

Hey, we're 99% bonkers and proud of it :P

So Glasgow are out and Edinburgh in then ;-) :-)

Blimey, I see what you mean, Glasgow voted 51.5% YES and 48.5% NO. The Tigers will be in a league of one.

Shame, it couldn’t have been the other way around; I like the Glasgow Tigers, it’s the other lot who are a pain!! ;):P

Perhaps on the face of it however most Tigers fans travel into Glasgow from South Lanarkshire which voted no.

15.5% actually - but that's still around 600,000 who Salmond couldn't convince. The No campaign was quite a failure, considering all of its own hype. No choice for Salmond but to fall on his own rhetoric.

It was the just the Glasgow turnout I was referring too (75% I think ) , Salmond couldn't even convince His own people up north to vote yes, so I suppose he had to go
