4thbender
If Scotland decides to leave the UK on Thursday, what will happen to Edinburgh and Glasgow? No longer part of Great Britain, they will not be eligible to be part of the British Speedway Promoters' Association, will therefore not be bound by the rules of British speedway and Scottish riders will be classed as 'foreigners'. has anyone thought through the ramifications of all this? CaptainAudi
The most used example: Are Swansea & Cardiff in the English leagues? In my opinion If scotland becomes independent and then both the Monarchs and Tigers want to stay in the league, I can't see the BSPA in it's current state saying no way.

Worry not. Thursday: Scotland claim independence. Friday: Everyone trying to go north on a Friday gets stuck around Manchester. Saturday: English Army arrive. Sunday: Scotland surrender, with Alex Salmond beheaded. Monday: Welsh army arrive... after being delayed after passing a field on the M6 containing sheep. DSC67
Aren't there are some non Polish( Germany or Chezc I think ) teams in the lower leagues in Poland ?So what's the difference ? The most used example: Are Swansea & Cardiff in the English leagues? In my opinion If scotland becomes independent and then both the Monarchs and Tigers want to stay in the league, I can't see the BSPA in it's current state saying no way. Wales is not an independant country though Edited September 15, 2014 by DSC67
LagutaRacingFan
Obviously not. They would have to start their own league.
