John Leslie
Remember when the details of the draft pick were first revealed? They said the draft riders would be allocated taking into account geographic location. That would have put Jason Garrity and Steve Worrall at BV, and you'd have won the league by now. bellevueace
A question i would like to ask Belle vue fans if Max Fricke wanted to ride for us next year(perhaps Cookie conections draw of pending new stadium etc who knows) would you swap him for M P Toft (i presume his average would fit as he was a guest for Toft last week). For me Toft has had a great season but i cant see him getting much better where as Fricke seems as though he has a lot more potential to improve. So add him to our present top 4 and add Steve Worrall at reserve and i think we would do a lot better next year.Thoughts please As well as MPT has done this season you have to question if he would continue to improve or even match what he has done this season, i feel the odds would be against this so a rider like fricke who no doubt has huge potential and improvement in him would be a better bet on a lower average with more scope to improve his starting average, so i would go for Fricke. MPT has no doubt been the rider of the season but as we see in speedway you can actually ride yourself out of a job, it must be the only profession where you get penalised for succses. I've witnessed a few BV meetings this year, all away fixtures and he has been mediocre at best, must've done the business at home then?
