Trees
There's one Chris Harris, but there's 6 other guys in the team. It's all about what works for the team, but on this occasion, it obviously didn't work! Sometimes you just have to try new things...it can work, or you can end up looking a fool! Seems to me like all of them liked the Bomber track and why try it on a Sky night?

foreverblue
yes mate I was watching and have to say Magic has stepped up to the plate recently. good result for Poole who were able to track a team of track specialists. Dakota North has been a bit of a knob in the past a la fencing Barker deliberately but tonight he wasn't to blame and it was Hansens fault for riding dangerously. Foreverblue you are a decent Poole fan yet your club is let down by idiot statements from Charizad Starman and Pirateandi. Every club has its own personal wallys on here but it just seems like Poole have more than most I dont think poole have more than most.Coventry fans screaming for sargeant to stay down when poole were on a 5-1, I thought only the awful poole fans did that! g13webb
Wow !!!!. What a turn-up. Expected a much closer affair, probably a last heat decider. But Poole were simply majestic, Led by the inspire Janowski they appeared to hold all the aces. From the gate they were electric. Having witnessed first hand recently, when Lynn were soundly beaten, I thought Coventry would have done far better than that. Only Bomber comes away with any credit. Some of the rest were woeful.. beaten embarrassing easily. This, to me speaks volumes, Not only about Poole but also Coventry as well. Maciej was awesome, He did everything and more besides. beating Harris 3 times is no mean feat, He led a team of 2nd strings and PL riders and inspired them to be winners. I had always thought after he rode for Lynn he was special, and one day he could be one of the best, last night he showed just how great he can be.. Coventry on the other hand were disappointing, No drive, no desire and no class. Having been soundly whooped by Swindon last week, I think that done more damage than first thought. Any chance they may have had of winning the league took a massive dive last night, Poole were simply from another level...........
stratton
A great win by the Pirates, they simply were superb, and all those knockers of MIddlo he must be doing something right.?The riders guests as well were really riding for him, and Magic well was terrific i hope in the next couple of years he can push on a class act on his day.The Pirates are stll going to be a tough nut to crack, even with a depleted team but i still think the Robins have a great chance.I have never thought that all season i felt the side was not quite good anough but Morris is the key now riding to his potential. Woz01
The only concern i have is Hansen. Howarth and Barker to come back (they would've scored more than IRR and Fricke did) long as we get Brandon grippy for the playoffs we still have a chance. pirateandi
Not surprising magic stood out in a watered down elite league people bleat on about Harris but he's a crap Gp rider and andersens is a has been so a on form magic will and should be beating these riders if he has aspirations of climbing up the speedway ladder.

brewer
Because at Peterborough you are watching washed up ex el second strings/reserves as heat leaders and no hope foreigners that have tried and failed in pl before at reserve.

You seem to forget both sides had injuries! Oh and I forgot it was a tenner last night! Come on then Watson, tell us how many there were if you know? 500 tops ... Was more than that! I don't know what people expect when it's on Sky. Edited September 16, 2014 by woz01

Didn't seem a lot different to that dross last night tbh although the packed terraces would suggest that you know what you're talking about.

foreverblue
Looking at the riders listed sitting at tapes and watching the races I thought how is that worth £2 more on the gate than Peterborough? Well it was actually cheaper than Peterborough last night as adults were a tenner and kids free, shame Peterborough don't do these deals and the programme was 2.50 not 3 quid like it is at Peterborough and it was a programme not a paper insert in a old programme from months ago like the last time i was at Peterborough. Tom Turner
Garrity needs to cut out this gating malarky. Kyle Newman was making some perfect starts, Garrity was just letting the clutch go after 2 seconds and hoping for the best.

Newcastle Sky match was £5 and if you'd have been there Sunday you'd have got a paper insert for your July 18th programme (no idea how much they charged mind?). I assume you're having a dig at Rick Frost as per usual.
