Shadders
Rockets threw that away in the second half of the meeting. The half hour delay for fence repairs and the 20 minute track grade between heats 10 & 11 didn't help. There's no getting over it, rider replacement at 5 and using a reserve in heat 13 plus a poor choice of guest have ultimately cost us Great effort from the Panthers today with a patched up side.Patched up? Skidmore & Kurtz improved your side. 29 points from guests & RR is far more than Bjerre, Dryml & Hall would've scored Edited September 14, 2014 by Shads
TheScotsman
Not really. Bjerre & Dryml have been big double figure scorers at home recently.
idh
Why does Len keep using NL riders in his 1-5. It's taking the piss out of both sets of fans and the away promoter. Mind you, Peterboroughs guests are no better today! Got that wrong didn't you Todd Kurtz (Guest) - 3, 2, 2*, 3, 3 = 13+1

hans fan
So why weren't the fans informed that bjerre wasn't riding , the management knew at 9.15 this morning
Crump99
So why weren't the fans informed that bjerre wasn't riding , the management knew at 9.15 this morning Because it would have cut the gate by 25% at least.
hans fan
Because it would have cut the gate by 25% at least.thank Christ it's the end of the season , the place has become farce , heard the team manager going on about no luck today , best answer for that would be don't sign cack riders , I pity any club who has dilger in there side next season he makes bager look like a talent

scoobydoo
Dilger getting stick but looking at his scores recently Barrett looks just as poor especially at the showground he seems to favour the smaller tracks but then again hes been shocking on some of them also
Panthers89
Dilger has been trying a lot harder than Nicki of late IMO.

cityrebel
A decent meeting today despite the farcical attempts to repair the air fence, these delays are what annoy fans the most. The Bowen & roynon clash in heat 8 was a cracker, it's a shame more people weren't there to see it.

And therein lies part of the problem, the EoES provides decent action at some point in all fixtures but people are not going to turn out for 15 heats spread over 2 or 3 hours for a few mini highs especially for a meaningless fixture and a select team. It's a good job that they kept Bjerre'a absence quiet or it would have been worse/ Edited September 14, 2014 by Crump99
