Trophies To Win In Premier League

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've a question and I thought someone on here might be able to help me get to the answer!

I'm wanting to know what ALL the titles/trophies are that you can win the premier league.

I know there is the plrc, fours, pairs, ko cup, league title, peter craven shield (i think that last one is right?) but wondered what others there are.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

I don't think the Craven Shield exists - unless it's awarded as the trophy for one of the competitions?

The League Cup is one that you've missed, although it's very much a forgotten competition, with no news of the Final as yet, and one match in the a Northern section still to be staged!

The SCB Regulations will probably tell you all you need to know - just do a search and you'll find a link to download the regs.

Finally, I don't think there's any prize money - which is the saddest aspect of all.

Yorkshire became cricket's LV= County Champions for 2014, and won £500,000 (£350k for the players and £150k for the club). Not bad for a competition that's watched by crowds numbering in the hundreds, where some matches are never completed.

The still outstanding match in the Northern section is Glasgow v Berwick , which will have no affect on the final standings as Edinburgh have already won the group , I think it's unlikely to take place now . The final is between Edinburgh & Peterborough no dates yet as far as I know
