Norrie Or Mads

Recommended Posts

While I havent seen Mads ride this year so cant comment on his effort, nobody has explained how he can be fit to ride abroad on sunday and tuesday, but cant ride here on monday.

I don't like Mondays (in the UK) disease.

A condition which has now spread from Poland to Denmark.

Because if you're not feeling 100% and have to pick your meetings a bit more wisely, 2 play-off meetings will trump a bottom of the table clash every time. Also riding a tigher Monmore track will be harder on an injured thigh. Or maybe Mads is just uncommitted and doesn't give a crap but fans of Newport, Swindon and Kings Lynn would tell you different.

I think Mads tries hard but i guess that he keeps his best bikes in Poland and Sweden.

Mads - judging by Twitter this evening. Bizarre with only 1 match left.

Mads K has always started each season well and faded. It maybe organisation or stamina.

Has he missed meetings before? It is unlike him to do so.

Norrie/Norman is old but knows his speedway, generally screwing a great deal for a rider and his wages from promoter but good luck to the old boy. Oldest TM since silly Trembling at Oxford!

Really don't understand this. Why sack Mads with 1 meeting to go?

Leicester will pay for this now because when team building begins for next season riders will be thinking about how the Leicester management have treated Mads.

Out of spite! By doing this he has made sure Mads cant extend his british season as a guest for anyone in the playoffs.Petty to say the least.

Mads will have to stay in Leicesters 1-7. Teams cannot make changes. This means Mads CAN guest.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if they have sacked him they have to use a PL/NL guest, as no facility will be available?

I feel sorry for Leicester . Despite paying top money , having respect for their riders , A team manager who is not only a lovely chap but shrewd and revered by all the riders he has taken money off over the years , the best racetrack in the country , the most friendly and knowledgable supporters . they still can't win matches . I think they should sack Mads , after all had he been there on Monday things would have been so much different for the Lions , I cant help feeling desperatlely sorry for the fans that he didn't turn up to such a crucial meeting . he must have known how important it was . and should have made a priority of it ,

Just trying to get my head round this. We're talking of Belle Vue v Leicester here, is that correct?

Mads was not in the side, and Leicester used a guest. If Leicester used a guest then either Mads was witholding his services or his absence was legitimate.

If Mads was witholding his services then that's an automatic ban for 28 days. But he rode for Leicester against King's Lynn after this. Therefore he's not banned. Therefore he wasn't witholding his services. Therefore his absence was legitimate.

See you in the play-offs Mads!!
