teaboy279
Lol greyhound. Rubbish you say but with no bates today and Baseby in then they wouldnt of won tonight. And i say other 3 are stronger than Kent, you trying to tell me they aint.Tbf fella we spanked coventry and mildenhall at home in the league and got spanked by the both away. So a semi against either team would be tight over 2 legs in my opinion.Just getting to the play offs and the development of Danny Ayres have made this season for me. The only downsides for me is treating 15 year old luke harris so badly and letting him go, and John Sampford's tactical ineptitude. And I have to add i would rather watch tight competitive meetings each week then spank every team by 20 points. Must get boring at Monmore on Tuesdays. A measure of how good cradley are, i reckon if 7 club number ones formed a select team to face the heathens at home I still don't think they would get close. lucifer sam
I apologise for putting the teams in the wrong order in the post title, being a Kent supporter i by mistake put Kent first ..Thanks for pointing it out Gustix ,your still pretty sharp Im hopeing Kent come first in the meeting though. Maybe if some one from Kings Lynn had bothered to start the thread i could have been spared the embarasment.. Waco, just a helpful tip: if you use full editor on the opening post, it is possible for you to change the title. All the best Rob

And i say other 3 are stronger than Kent, you trying to tell me they aint. Have to agree what you say. Do not think Kent would have won without Bates, but may still have got the point with Baseby which was needed. Cannot see Kent having much chance against Storm or Mildenhall and NO chance against a full strength Cradley.IMHO.
lucifer sam
Glad to see the matter resovled on track, rather than in a boardroom. All the best Rob

waco
Thanks for the tip Lucifer Sam,..,Well a great result for Kent who it must be remembered were without Simon Lambert, Excellent Guest in young Josh Bates, and a best ever return round Kings Lynn from Ben Morley 17,, swung it for the kings,,,Credit too ,to our rookie Danny Ayers who continues to thrill the fans with his do or die efforts ..Hoping Cradley may prefer a more local clash with Coventry in the play offs ?? well you never know,,? Wiseguy
When and how are the play off draws made? Do Cradley get the choice of who they want to ride against?
Heathen1984
Whistle gang do.you honestly think.you would of won with baseby instead of bates. Not a chance.
whistlegang
I saw Bates as essentially cover for Lambert. We would have got the job done with Lambert in the side. I have said for a few weeks now that it will be us and Cradley in the final. I can't see us winning against you over the two legs, but, anything can happen (injuries/EL&PL duties). Does anybody know when the playoff dates are likely to be? TWG I've seen Garrad beat Sarjeant, Baseby beat Starke and last week Danny Ayres got the fastest time of the evening around CP (so I was told). If Mason brings his home form to the away leg... Heathen1984
I agree but u still got 8 from Lamberts rides and paid 14 from bates, Baseby wouldnt of even got half that score so you would of lost in my eyes. U never know what might happen, might catch us on a bad night. I know the home tie of our play off semi is on 23rd of september.
TMW
When and how are the play off draws made? Do Cradley get the choice of who they want to ride against? Yes and then the other 2 are the other semifinalists. Not too long to wait now although whoever gets Cradley in the Semi wont progress so pray they don't pick you Edited September 11, 2014 by TMW

If Lambert rode he'd have probably gone through the card at Lynn, that's 15 points. Half of 14 is 7 so that actually comes out as the same figure. Well done to the Kings, looking forward to seeing how they do in the play-offs.
