Guest
The thread title wrongly indicates that Kent Kings are at home to King's Lynn although the comment does say that they travel to Saddlebow Road. . These are the forthcoming Kent Kings fixtures" Wed 10 King's Lynn NL Away - Fri 12 Arena-Essex (8.00pm) CH Away P-P Mon 15 British Under-19 Championship (7pm) Ind HOME - Mon 22 Arena Essex Tunnel Trophy HOME - Sun 28 National League Riders Championship @ Rye House

Why do you ask? Isn't it obvious that the fixture IS NOT as the thread title indicates? I drew attention because I wouldn't like people like you to go to the wrong track! You're quite right gustix, the meeting isn't in Kent, and I don't blame you for highlighting the fact, seeing that little publicity has been given to such an important meeting. Yes, tonight sees the King's Lynn 'Young Stars' take on the very powerful Kent 'King's at the Norfolk Arena, with points of utmost importance to both clubs. Sadly this meeting hasn't received much publicity at all, and I just hope that isn't reflected in the attendance. With both clubs beginning to reach the business end of the season, there won't be many more opportunities to come and see some of the stars of tomorrow. Even without their inspirational skipper Simon Lambert, who is scheduled to be racing for Workington at Berwick this evening, providing he's recovered from the flu like symptoms he was suffering at Peterborough last night, they are a heck of a strong side. Both sides have to resort to the guest facility tonight, with the home side opting for Coventry's Luke Priest, who notched 16-points in our colours a week ago last Sunday at Buxton, whilst Kent call on the services of Mildenhall favourite Josh Bates, who just loves the pacey Norfolk Arena circuit. Mouth-watering or what?? Full lines-ups are: KING'S LYNN: 1) Luke Priest (Guest) 2) R/R 3) Marc Owen 4) Scott Campos 5) James Cockle (Capt) 6) Josh Bailey 7) Tom Stokes. KENT: 1) Benji Compton 2) Josh Bates (Guest) 3) David Mason 4) Ben Morley 5) R/R 6) Jason Garrad 7) Danny Ayres. When that's all finished, you'll be cordially invited to remain in your seats for the Midland Development League Knockout Cup clash against the Hoddesdon based Rye House 'Raiders'. So all in all, quite an evening to saviour.

At least you made a reference to a match that seemingly is shrouded in obscurity. Luckily, King's Lynn seem to know about it!!! http://www.kingslynnstars.co/young-stars-take-on-kent/ ::: Amazing that for the junior match Rye House seemingly cannot find four riders. Is there a shortage of riders in this class? Edited September 10, 2014 by Guest

If Bates and Mason both score upwards of 7/8 points then Kent will win this one.... just. Need Danny Ayres to win a couple of races and Garrad to pick up some third places. Here come the playoff's! It does make you wonder where these junior leagues are really going though, as this sort of thing happens to often. Heathen1984
Good job Bates is riding instead of Baseby cus easily would of lost. Enjoy semi finals cus cant see u beating any of the top 3. Take ya look i suppose that bates is available to have instead of Baseby.
greyhoundp
You know 1984, sometimes you do spout some arrogant stuff, its NO wonder some supporters cant abide some Heathens Fans. without looking at the Table Kent wont beat any of the Top three because I believe they came 3rd.. There is one stand out team in the NL outside of that its much of a muchness, Kent have as much chance as anyone. Well done to the Teams who qualified for the Play Offs, and i look forward to receiving and visiting whoever we choose.
cityrebel
As a neutral and Central Park regular, I'm pleased that the kings have made the play offs. It's another meeting for me to go to in the south east, with eastbourne and lakeside having already finished their home fixtures.
Heathen1984
Lol greyhound. Rubbish you say but with no bates today and Baseby in then they wouldnt of won tonight.
