Super Blue
Even though the BSPA has this down as PL it's the cup semi on Thursday with the Witches hoping to build up a good lead to make the 2nd leg manageable . Having recently lost by 11 away to the Devils I believe the Witches will need a good 20 to 25 pt advantage to be comfortable in the return at the end of the month . The Devils have drafted in Lasse Bjerre to cover for the injured Ben Barker and I think he will probably score just as many at Foxhall as Ben wasn't exactly consistent as our No1 last year . The Witches should be at full strength with Gino hopefully returning fighting fit from a couple of recent knocks . My prediction , somewhere in the region of 57-35 . ( Maybe not as I forgot no tacticals so 58-32 is my revised prediction ) Edited September 11, 2014 by Super Blue
Baldyman
I think the devils will be pushed to hit 30. Our reserves are bang on form at home and if tungate races like last week it will be a total thrashing.
TheScotsman
60+ for Ippo. I assume there are no joker rides available?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
The aim should be 60 so the away leg should then be a formality. Will go with Witches to get 55-60.
Roland
Let's hope Bjerres camera gets some good shots of the back of Rohan like last week! More to the point, what's he doing with it on his helmet in the first place??

IpswichDave
I've been wondering that too. I assume it's for his sponsors. More likely training/analysis; more and more common across sport in general and I have seen a few riders using GoPros. I think Gino had one on a few weeks back? Alternatively it can be used to point out refereeing discrepancies as seen in the "Bizarre Exclusions" thread on the general board.
Roland
The most bizarre decision is why he was not excluded from heat one last week.......he caused 2 'unsatisfactory' starts with the help of the GoPro and got away with it! Poor show all round.

Bash
With no tactical rides allowed in this meeting I'll go for a 57-33 home win.
Baldyman
We all like to win, but that was just boring. Well done Kyle.
arnieg
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a press release bigging up the second leg!
ancient mariner
And to think that the Devils On Tour travelled all the way up to Foxhall ....... to watch that. Embarrassing display by the Devils and their 'guest' - with a single, notable exception
2ndbendbeerhut
Plymouth except Newman were shocking! Outgated nearly every time, with the races over by the first lap. Strange thing is that only Manzares went unbeaten! Harsh in Worrall tonight, gated in third heat, tried to push Devils wide but ended up going to last, then in heat 13 took avoiding action to not be collected by Franc but was excluded from rerun! There will be speedway next week at Foxhall, just don't know who yet! Well done to Manzares on his max, pity that Risager spoilt his full one(unlike Hawkins did for Tungate the previou week)
Icicle
Still it's nice to have 2 riders with Max in 2 weeks! Been some time....
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Thank you Kyle Newman for ensuring there was at least some contest. The Devils were truly shocking and sadly 25 points flattered them!!
Super Blue
Wasn't the most exciting of meetings but was exactly what needed to be done in the first leg of a cup semi ! Only a couple of decent races and not much passing going on really . My only real gripe about tonight was Richie W getting excluded when he was clearly taken down by Franc in ht 13 but I don't think it made much difference in the grand scheme of things . Bizarrely an identical score to the Somerset one in the previous round , let's hope for a third one in the final whoever we may face ( probably Edinburgh ) and some proper silverware to show for it ! Hang on , I think I'm getting a tad ahead of myself there . Let's just enjoy the win and hope for a comfortable and injury free passage to the final in the return leg . dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Given that the 2nd leg of the Glasgow/Newcastle QUARTER final isnt scheduled until Sept 28th it could be a long wait for the final.
