mdmc82
True ...but I think Cov are over rated the middle order sucks ..just hope I am wrong for Swindon sake One bad night doesn't make a team weak. Lets hope bees "week middle" as you put it does mean bees and Eastbourne sharing the points for Swindons sake

woofers
Team news is BUILDBASE BEES (from): Hans Andersen, Jason Garrity, Kenneth Hansen, Chris Harris, Kyle Howarth, James Sarjeant, Guest or R/R for Ben Barker.EASTBOURNE (from): Max Clegg, Adam Ellis, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Timo Lahti, Bjarne Pedersen, Stuart Robson, Rory Schlein. Rory and Robbo better at Brandon than the riders they are guesting for so strengthen Eastbourne some what. Surprised Bees didn't book Robbo. On the plus Bees are stronger at reserve and if Eastbourne do get anything from these meetings towards their play off push, Coventry have another 3 meetings to get points from So that's just 3 of the regular Eastbourne team, and 4 guest riders for the Eagles. The downside is that this is a continuation of the trend shown in the last couple of weeks of teams barely recognisable compared to those declared for the best part of the season, and as pointed out on other threads, a worrying indication of the state of British speedway in its current guise. Is this just another ride for the guests to supplement their earnings, is there incentive for them to push hard to earn those elusive away points that Eastbourne crave ? It pains me to say so, but there is a potential upside in that these guys just might pull off a shock result for us (Eastbourne), they surely can't fare any worse than the regular team that has under performed for so long. LagutaRacingFan
Fancy Eagles to take 7 points out of these two fixtures, Bjarne, Robbo, Schlein and Kylmakoorpi fly around Brandon. 1st Meeting: 43-47 2nd Meeting: 38-
A ORLOV
Can the guests ride in both meetings as they will be within the 8 day period for the second meeting after riding in the first.

TheSmiler
Surely we can't be going r/r with Hansen in the team. Even Kennett would be a better option. Do the management actually want to get in the play offs? Can see the Eagles winning both and knocking us out.
krompa
Ideal scenario for Bees to be perfectly honest is 2 pts tomorrow, 5 pts for Eastie. Then Belle Vue holds the key. Table in this case: Swindon 32 55 pts Coventry 29 53 pts Eastie 30 51 pts Remaining fixtures after that: Eastie at BV twice and Coventry vs. Poole (H), vs. BV (A), vs. Wolves (H). Not sure about last one, will it be before cut off date? Coventry to finish above Swindon that's sure and Eastie will have to pick up 5 pts at BV. Seems very unlikely but this is the only scenario I can imagine to stop Swindon. Poole and KL struggling lately and will not be any danger for Bees in PO.

You cant honestly think they have any chance having got thrashed at poole, coventry have riders who could quite easily get a max
mdmc82
Surely the Bees cant be running with R/R. Way way way to risky. Need to get a guest in. Plenty of riders out there to choose from.[/quote Like who? Has to be a PL guest that's good enough to ride as a heat leader. Who would you suggest? orion
Very funny. You cant honestly think they have any chance having got thrashed at poole, coventry have riders who could quite easily get a max And they got riders like Hansen who can score 0 .....not sure what bearing getting trashed by Poole has on this match as Eastie have a stronger side in this match v a weak looking cov side who look like they are taking the crazy step of using rr in a double headed

Woz01
Hansen, haworth and a.n,other /rr is not weak then ?? Hansen and Howarth are decent at Poole which could win us the title. Hansen form is a worry though.

Rumour that they showed "poor form" on Monday on a track they all ride/guest well on so that when they get 2 points and Eastbourne get 5 tonight, people think its just down to a dip in form and this is one of the strongest Eastbourne teams we have seen away. Bees would then only need 3 points from their remaining 3 meetings, of which they have already beat Poole (with Ward) Wolves and also had a easy 4pt away win at Belle Vue recently so know they will get them. Also Eastbourne would still be in the play off running. will be interesting to see tonight. Heard the same thing several times this week but hoping its just a rumour Did find Monday very strange though as much as it was great to win. Coventry riders have been really good when they have guested for us this season, Sarjeant, Hans and Garrity and we know how Harris and ex Robin Howarth also ride at the Abbey yet on Monday all 6 of them "lost form" after the recent away thrashings of Lakeside & Belle Vue (which we found isn't a easy place to go) plus they were fired up from 5 man win against King's Lynn. Maybe they did all just have a bad night but yet it was just very strange. With Coventry fans saying they want King's Lynn in the semi, were they hoping they would see Monday and pick them? Who knows

What is your problem and what is all this rubbish about posting under 3 different names? think you are the one with a problem looking at the way you are abusive to other posters on here. Does that mean Belle Vue are a better team than Swindon as well then?
