Big welcome to our Cumbrian whipping boys this Sunday :P . This will be the second of our encounters with the ex-Tigers select after we attempt another glorious away win at Derwent Park on Saturday .

Viktor and Kasper are back after their weekend on the cheap bevvy in Poland last week and we welcome Redcar's lunatic Pole , Rafael Konopka ,as our guest replacement for Dimitri .

Obviously we canny underestimate the Comets as they always go well round our place , having fluked a win in the League Cup , but that humiliating slaughter we inflicted on them on their own track two weeks ago will leave them with mental scars that will have them in awe of every Tigers bib they see in the pits .

Always nice to welcome back ex-Tigers after they fly the nest , for reasons no one can comprehend , so Josh , Mason and Wee Joe will play ball and not score many or else . Ricky Wells is another wannabe Tiger having guested a couple of times for us over in Overtaking Nirvana in the past .

King Rusty and Theo will spearhead our assault on the points , and you never know Kevin might chip in too .

Cracking meeting in prospect with the Tigers just shading it by about 6 points .

Sundays teams are

Derwent Park superstars

1 Viktar Palovaara

2 Theo Pijper

3 Kevin Wolbert or Kevin Wolbert

4 Tero Aarnio

5 King Rusty

6 Kasper Lykke

7 Rafael Konopka ( guest )

Our Bitches

1 Josh Grajczonek

2 Ricky Wells

3 Rene Bach

4 Mason Campton

5 Kyle Howarth

6 Joe Jacobs

7 Simon Lambert

i see you have strengthened down for this one. must be feeling soory for us. i will cut right to the chase and say a big thank you for the 3, poss 4 league points. normally i would go for a glasgow win. but your no 1 is tat, where ours is not.

it will be interesting to see what wlolybert turns up. good or bad.. rusty through the cars, but lykke it or not , we have detter reserves. so an away win to make up for the points lost at home to sumerset tonight. safe meeting for everyone.

I take it we couldn't get a guest for Sunday so opted for Konopka instead!! I take it Graverson or Perry are elsewhere . I suspect we will struggle in this one with effectively a 5 man team. Although Jacobs may also be missing and will be interesting who Worky get to replace him

So despite riding with only six scoring riders, Glasgow pull off a great win. Surely Kevin Wolbert must be riding himself into next years Tigers team.

You would like to think on that average he is I had been very critical off him early season but the past few weeks he is proving to be the rider that we all knew he is so credit were it is due he has been riding like the No1 we had all been waiting on.

Glasgow cant make anymore changes as the deadline is passed, though I`m not sure if Palovaara would do enough meeting to attain a true average.

It really was a p*ss poor signing in the first place we could all see that but whoever signed him obviously couldn't why i don't know, it was painful to watch him pulling wheelies half a lap behind today with him in the team we can forget the cup match with the Diamonds he is just too big a burden to be carrying and questions need to be asked why we signed him knowing the amount off meeting's he would miss even before we get to how poor a signing he was anyway and what his contribution to the team regarding the lack off points he has scored.

Not a bad meeting today but Josh apart the Comet's were poor today probably only Wells backed Josh up and gets pass marks also and on to us

Palovarra - Waste off 7 point's I'm afraid very poor signing and pulling wheelies whilst at the back on his Lawn Mower is probably not the brightest thing to do

Piper - Usual solid self after a poor first ride by his standard

Wolbert - Between him and Kasper for MOM rode superbly all day best i have seen him gate all season

Arranio - Pass marks looked better and i am sure has more improvement in him

Harrison - Pleasure to watch Rusty round Ashfield usual reliable self

Kasper - Awesome display from young Kasper if the boy could gate he would be some rider but that is why we love him his gating is gash but can the boy pass great to watch

Konopko - Good ride in Ht 2 but nothing after that but plenty effort cannot be faulted

All in all Palovarra apart we are very solid at home and with the right mix off rider's returning next season and new ones to come in we could be in for our good season cycle next year hopefully Kasper Rusty Dimitri and Kevin should be returnees and work it round that.
