Skodaman
Not anybody's fault, but the meeting finished quite late. With it being a Saturday night, riders (PK, Troy & Dak that I know of) had to set off for airport hotels to stand a chance of getting a few hours sleep before flying out to Poland at an early hour on Sunday. And so Poland wins again!!

From what I've seen, Gustafsson, Morris, Rosco etc actually came out of the pits and spoke to/thanked a large group of the Robins fans positioned on bend 1 and posed for pics etc - so they did acknowledge the large number of fans. I'm sure had the meeting run smoothly and without incident then a victory parade etc would have been done. Not that late when Poole were there it didn't finish until quarter past ten! flagrag
A quick one lap victory parade on bikes would have taken all of 3 mins to do. To be fair to Rosco although he did not do an interview I hear he did come down to the bar and enjoyed a drink and banter with Leicester fans
weatherwatcher
Not the same. This must have been the first time since I have been going to see the Lions meetings that the opposite team have not had the curtesy, to come and have a few minutes to come to the start line to have a chat to the fans. It is not like it is an hours interview, it is all of 10 minutes. Yes Norrie Allen does have a go at his riders if they have riding porely and why not, all bosses do it. And whay did anyone even bother mentioning the shape of the track, I thought we had already heard enough on that sunject, to last us a life time. Maybe one day it will happen but I don't think it will be in my life time. We have been stuggling to get around 20 slabs laid between the stands and the toilets for most of this year and get fobbed off with a lot of stubbid answers if any. So as for changing the track you have Bob Hope.
mrcts
First thing leicester need to do before anything else is to change the shape of the track, there was more passing in one race at lakeside than a whole meeting at leicester.I agree the meeting was pretty poor with not a lot of good racing, but to be fair the previous 3 or 4 home meetings have been pretty good racing-wise a whole lot better than all the previous meeting combined since we reopened.
